Chris Werb
I have no idea where this is, and the guys may have entered illegally, but I found this interesting and a little sad. I'd love to see the Yellow Fever FCS preserved as lots of L70 40mms have been, but no FCS that I'm aware of.
Stuart Galbraith
I remember spending most of an afternoon in about 1990 or so, driving around wantage trying to find a military scrapyard. We never found it, but I suppose its still there.
shootER5
I have recurring dreams about finding a yard like that, except in my dreams the vehicles aren't in as good a shape as seen in the video.
Special-K
Oh my... I'll watch all of it when I get home, but any chance this would be locatable on Google sattelite for more... Ummm... Documentation? -K
Stuart Galbraith
Anyone want a Harrier GR3? Once careful owner Guvnor, little old lady used to drive it to church every sunday. http://desertedplaces.blogspot.com/2016/03/the-abandoned-planes-of-predannack.html

wendist
I certainly hope the missiles visible at 1:12 are movie props or used for training!
DB
They're Rapiers. Mounted in the Tracked Rapier launcher vehicle, originally for the Iranians but taken into BA service when the Shah had trouble getting home that one time. Well, if they're real, they're rapiers. They're most likely to be drill rounds, completely inert. Edited November 14, 2019 by DB
Stuart Galbraith
Yeah, anything with writing like that on is usually inert. Great toy, I'd love one of these. But where do you put it?
