Hmmmmm....no Hispanics/Latinos/Chicanos in the mix.

Hispanic isn't a race. It's an ethnicity. Most of them are probably in the White category. Some would be in the native American category.

Yeah, I read the data once--Hispanics are/were considered as 'victims' category;

I work under the assumption that stats are feeding a narrative--'whites' committing violent crimes against minorities; so if a Vato pops a Homie in Compton, it's white on black violence.

Deju vu, another Saudi murderer in the US for flight school....

At the invitation of Trump.

Went to KSA and personally invited him in, did he? Did he pat him on the back and smoke a 'see-gar' when they did it?

Six other Muslims detained for questioning. The Saudis must be working overtime to spin this to fool the infidels once more.

I smell a late night flight in an unmarked private jet taking unkown Saudis back home in the near future.

Official: Base shooter watched shooting videos before attack

By BRENDAN FARRINGTON today

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) — The Saudi student who fatally shot three sailors at a U.S. naval base in Florida hosted a dinner party earlier in the week where he and three others watched videos of mass shootings, a U.S. official told The Associated Press on Saturday.

Officials investigating the deadly attack were working Saturday to determine whether it was motivated by terrorism, while President Donald Trump indicated he would review policies governing foreign military training in the United States.

The shooter opened fire inside a classroom at the naval base on Friday, killing three people and wounding two sheriff’s deputies, one in the arm and one in the knee, before one of the deputies killed him. Eight others were also hurt. Both deputies were expected to survive.

The official who spoke Saturday said one of the three students who attended the dinner party hosted by the attacker recorded video outside the classroom building while the shooting was taking place. Two other Saudi students watched from a car, the official said.

Ten Saudi students were being held on the base Saturday while several others were unaccounted for, [uhmmm, okay?] said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity after being briefed by federal authorities.

The FBI identified the shooter in a statement Saturday night as Mohammed Alshamrani, 21. Investigators said he was a 2nd Lt. in the Royal Saudi Air Force and was a student naval flight officer of Naval Aviation Schools Command. A U.S. official on Friday said the FBI was examining social media posts and investigating whether he acted alone or was connected to any broader group. The official wasn’t authorized to discuss the matter publicly and spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity.

Two U.S. officials said Friday that authorities were investigating whether the attack was terrorism-related. They spoke on condition of anonymity to disclose information that had not yet been made public.

Well, if that wasn't "terrorism-related", it was a rather bad case of cultural appropriation. I hadn't even heard of the previous naval base shooting this week before it was brought up in this context. Guess Saudi shooters are sexier.

Pearl Harbor shooting unfolded in 23 seconds in packed area

By JENNIFER SINCO KELLEHER and LOLITA C. BALDOR yesterday

HONOLULU (AP) — The U.S. Navy sailor who fatally shot two people at Pearl Harbor before killing himself was unhappy with his commanders and had been undergoing counseling, a military official said Friday.

Gabriel Romero, 22, also faced non-judicial punishment, which is a lower-level administrative process for minor misconduct, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss personnel matters not made public. He used his two service weapons in the attack, the official said.

Romero also wounded a 36-year-old man in the attack Wednesday at the naval shipyard within the storied military base before turning the gun on himself, authorities said. That victim is in stable condition at a hospital.

[...]

Military officials said Friday at a news conference that they had not found a motive yet for the shooting but that there’s no evidence of domestic terrorism. They said the isolated attack, witnessed by shipyard employees in an area with thousands of workers, unfolded in about 23 seconds.

Romero, who was from Texas and enlisted in the Navy two years ago, was dead when authorities arrived, and he was armed for his job standing watch and providing security for the fast attack submarine USS Columbia, which is at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam for maintenance, officials said.

The other one got to me first but probably only because the Internet AI God remembers my surfing habits and so semi-related things tend to reach me first.

It's my understanding that there are many Afghani soldiers also missing once they arrived here for training.

This was not just some lone nut Saudi officer, he had plenty of help among his fellow officers who were "dinner party" guests and filming the attack as it happened.

https://lawofficer.com/news/u-s-naval-academy-graduate-died-relaying-crucial-information-to-first-responders/

PENSACOLA, Fla. – A young graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, whose dream was to become a pilot, is being hailed a hero after he reportedly related crucial information about the identity of the Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola shooter to first responders, despite having been shot several times, a family member revealed.

Joshua Kaleb Watson, 23, was confirmed as one of the three victims who were killed Friday morning when Saudi national Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani opened fire on a flight training program for foreign military personnel, Adam Watson revealed in a Facebook post.

Watson’s father Benjamin told USA Today that his son was the officer on deck at the time of the shooting and sustained at least five gunshot wounds before being able to make it out to relay important information about the shooter before succumbing to his injuries.

“Heavily wounded, he made his way out to flag down first responders and gave an accurate description of the shooter,” he told the outlet. “He died serving his country.”
