Dawes
Is this unique to Germany or do other NATO countries have such dedicated units? https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2019/07/11/potd-german-airplane-protection/

Panzermann
One of the many missions of the ObjSRgtLw. The protection teams are picked more or less ad hoc from the four active and three reserve squadrons of the regiment (functionally sized like infantery companies, but, you now, the flappy birds). Picked for who is currently fully trained up for the job. Ironically regimental HQ is in Schortens near Wilhelmshaven. You'd think that the naval infantry was stationed there.
