WRW 0
For years I have been using this as a source of material for study. Recently my study has been focused on Intelligence and counter terror. Suddenly, they need to verify my ID , my credit card paid for membership has been blocked and they are looking for photograph of card & credit card statement . Has anyone else had a similar problem ? Mobius 0
Military Info only ships prints to 17 countries and the UAE is not on that list. And even then there are some chemical warfare prints that aren't available. But, no I don't have that problem.

WRW 0
a confusion for many years I have subcribed annually to scribdpayment by credit card 18 months ago I started paying monthly - by card - no problem 3 months ago my payment was blocked by my credit card Scribd contacted me - I contacted my bank - bank says no problemthis happened 5 or 6 times now I learn that Visa card had declared transaction suspicious - 14th transaction in sequencenobody asked about it they just stopped it when I was on to bank on issue no body bothered to mention it to me my bank says they are only middlemen and cannot (or will not) tell me why the transaction was determined as suspicious - therefore I have to wonder if there is a problem with scribd?? I have lodged a complaint on issue - they will write a letter to me at some stage (undetermined) in the future - they will not email me neither do they have any facility for receiving emails - 21 century this particular bank is a pain Edited June 13, 2019 by WRW

WRW 0
my problem is not with Scribd but my bank basically as far as I am concerned my link to Visa is my bank They (Visa/Bank) decide that the 14th monthly transaction looks suspicious - so the stop it. They not only do not inform me they actually deny they did anything when I contacted them.Eventually they admit they stopped the transactions but other than looks suspicious will not tell me in what way suspicious. Their complaints section only deals with old fashioned post - no email in or out. So much for 21 century. In a previous interaction they decided that as part of their KYC anti money laundering campaign that we could not set up a savings account for my wife as we could not prove where she was living. How do we know this - they wrote to her at the address that they were not accepting.I have banked with them 40 years and wife has bee signature for 18. We offered Turkish residents card but they only wanted utility bills - Arrogance and incompetence is a bad mix anyway I am taking a break from scribd
