First topic, weird news section - protesters in Tirana, Albania, supporting Serbian ownership of Kosovo.

Ah, damn, it is fake but interesting one - supposedly made by currently ruling Albanian party to discredit opposition, so still fits the theme.

Whoa those guys are something!

If you find a Balkan Beats party you should certainly attend. The parties of the balkan and eastern european studies and slavistics department were legendary at university. :D

Nazdravlje! Uzdravlje! Na zdravje! Наздраве! На здравје! Be careful with the great uncle's homemade slivovitz! ;)

Graham Philips is now touring Kosovo

Ethnic cleansing puts it a bit thick as a headline, but it is obvious that higher birthrate (something like more than half of the population are under 35 or so iirc) and influx of albanians has pushed away the serbs that used to live there. More like ethnic mobbing.

The other videos are funny with a "Toni Bler street" in Pristina. He finally gets some recognition

Re "Ethnic cleansing puts it a bit thick as a headline" - sounds like white flight. I think he (Philips) is even more pro-Serb than average Russian, after his career in Donbass with Serb volunteers, so it is hard to expect him being unbiased. Still, as British citizen he can't be prevented from visiting Kosovo (unlike some of German observers banned from coming Ukraine presidential elections because pro-Ukrainians claim they are pro-Russian, according to "Left" fraction leader Andreas Mauer https://ria.ru/20190304/1551522999.html) Probably Kosovo is more liberal than Ukraine :)

They tried, Bosnia (they are Bosnians) did not want it and instead sent some idiot.

But best trolling of Eurovision was actually Rambo Amadeus, representing Montenegro in 2012. There were actually official complains from Eurovision about him mocking the Eurovision "It is not in the spirit of Eurovision to mock Eurovision" and he ended last, song being declared "worst in the history of Eurovision", something he is very proud of and I suspect was his goal all along.

Basically whole song is mocking "new rich" in Montenegro, EU, Eurovision and pretty much everything.

I don`t know, "Leto svet" which was estonias eurovision entry from 2008 was rather good in the trolling department aswell;

"Strange are the ways (roads) of the Lord"

"But roads in Serbia are stranger still"

Just compensating for a lack of signs on other junctions. :)

But actually easy to read, since signs that forbid things (red/yellow) overrule informational signs (blue/white).

OTOH, it is an old picture (signs were changed from red/yellow to a red/reflective white some 10-15 years ago) and that type of garbage dumpster is a long gone also..

In scandinavia they have yellow reflective background on many signs to better see them on snow behind the sign. I guess the gov of serbia does not expect snow anymore with global warming? ;)

But what is the sign post on the photo even supposed to acomplish? A very convoluted way to mark a deadend? Confuse tourists?

1st bit was done in the name of "EU standardization" which is a common way to say that someone connected wanted to earn quick money. Originally, red/yellow was chosen in 1940s due the best visibility in the adverse conditions (no cheep reflective ones back then).

2nd bit - My guess is that probably due the temporary works, streets both left and right became one-way, in the direction of the street that sign is at the end of. So they did not remove original, just added new ones.
