He was a legend in the aircraft restoration community. I used to get flypast magazine every month back in the early 80s, and he was usually in it about some project he acquired or passed on. He probably deserves a lot of credit for many surviving Spitfires today.

Plans are for me to be up there again for WWII Weekend in less than a month. The P-61 has been coming along. I saw it over a decade ago when they were early in the project. Every year, when I see it, there's a bit more done on it and a bi more that looks amazing.
