shep854 Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 (edited) I'm weird. I like the background music. I was a bit surprised that the armor was that thin. Edited September 3, 2018 by shep854
DogDodger Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 I'll always have a soft spot for the M41, as there was one in a local park when I was a kid. I have great memories of climbing on it (and sometimes trying not to get stung...).
Colin Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 It really says "Tank" to you when you look at it.
Stefan Fredriksson Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 Agreed. No background music is better.
Rickard N Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 I'm weird. I like the background music. I was a bit surprised that the armor was that thin.I general I have no problem either, sometimes it's mixed so that the music is as loud or louder than the Chieftain himself... /R
JasonJ Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 No brief interruptions of game tank logo either.
shep854 Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 What we've been waiting for! Nick goes inside:
wendist Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 Probably the easiest climb onto a tank he has ever had.
Markus Becker Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 He fits! The only explanation is that it's "bigger on the inside".
Adam_S Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 I was sort of expecting his feet to come out of the bottom like the cars on the Flintstones. When can we expect the Tetrach "oh bugger the tank is on fire" test then?
shep854 Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 As his channel grows, fewer people seem interested in the vehicles themselves and more in Nicks contortionism.

wendist Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 Watch my Object 416 video....Just watched it and yes, that looked even easier.
DougRichards Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 I was sort of expecting his feet to come out of the bottom like the cars on the Flintstones. When can we expect the Tetrach "oh bugger the tank is on fire" test then? You are showing your age
Interlinked Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 I'm still waiting for a review of the T-72! And no, it's not that I want Nick to suffer. I'm just interested in the tank
bojan Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 Other than a driver's position it was OK for me, and I am 196cm tall.
shep854 Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 The Object 416 video also got me to wondering--is there a 'too low' for AFVs?
Panzermann Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 (edited) Other than a driver's position it was OK for me, and I am 196cm tall. I am 191 centimetres and it was okay on the gunner and TC seats. The driver was uncomfortable. It was an ex-NVA one, so the modernized ones with the added screens and optics and stuff on the inside may not be as comfortable anymore. the T-64-73-80-90-84 are so low, because there is no need to have space for a standing loader. simple as that. Interlinked Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 (edited) What are the deficiencies of the driver's station? I heard from my friend (6'2") that you can put your legs perfectly straight in there and the headroom was more than enough. The bucket seats was also very comfortable, according to him. Perhaps the location of the pedals takes some of that legroom away? Edited October 13, 2018 by Interlinked
