A Sisyphean task...

Given the amount of bad info out there and its consistency I'd say the Augean Stables is the correct comparison.

Never convinced me, TBH. The critters in the stable would have continued to shit the floor. A glaring plot hole.

That's why you turn them out to pasture while you do the cleanup.

It occurs to me that it's been about 25 years since I visited the Bastogne museum. Nuts to getting old, I say.

My first thought was the Tonk.  That gear knob up against the driver's knobs could well be incentive for smooth driving. 😕

No idea if he's in it but it's right up his alley.

Haven't watched it but obsolete is way harsh. They were lights. Maybe a solution looking for a problem in some places but definitely in the PTO, BCI.

The M3 light in North Africa was the equivalent of the British Cruiser tanks in regard to armour and gun. The only downside was range, which he neglected to mention.

There is a bit more that could be said in the Japanese part half-tracks like the Type 1 Ho-Ha.

In order to improve off road troop movement, in 1937 the Army's technology research center started development of a fully tracked infantry carrier by 1938, the Type 98 Tracked Vehicle. The vehicle was good with a few being handed out but with no actual mechanized units existing, it wasn't developed into a production model.

Although, an experimental half track version was created from the Type 98 Tracked Vehicle.

The research group would continue work and finish research by 1941, to when demand for offroad troop transport was high with the Pacific War . Thus the fully tracked Type 1 Ho-Ki and half-track Type 1  Ho-Ha were developed.

But there was one other half-track that came before the Type 1 Ho-Ha. Type 96 trucks were used to haul Type 88 75mm AA guns. They wanted to move the AAs more effectively so out of that truck, the Type 98 Half-Track Prime Mover was made, 1938.

The peace dove in the military museum.

No guys, you are entirely wrong. Thats has nothing about to do with peace. It is actually a heavy bomber, now being refueled and loaded with bombs. Time to get a new exhibit, to deal with this problem:
