Panzermann Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Hmm, there's only 53 in Germany. That makes ~3.32 per memberstate. In the USA it is one per state.
Stargrunt6 Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 I have bought a ton of IKEA furniture. When I assemble the furniture, it kind of appeals to the competitive part of me.
MiloMorai Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 An Englishman was on a tour of a Texan's house. When shown the pool he commented on how large it was. The Texan replied that is not the pool, that is my bathtub.
Paul G. Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 Installed an Ikea kitchen last year. Fantastic and affordable.
Murph Posted May 13, 2019 Author Posted May 13, 2019 The coolest and wettest spring I have seen in a number of years. I am not complaining, because in August we will be begging for rain.
Mr King Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 I imagine Texas "twinky" takes on a whole new meaning in places like Austin....
Murph Posted May 14, 2019 Author Posted May 14, 2019 I imagine Texas "twinky" takes on a whole new meaning in places like Austin.... In Austin the Soy-Boys think meat is beastly, and just too un-woke to...eat. OMG, like I they have to be the latest paleo-keto-vegan don't you know. REAL Texans love their BBQ, and things such as this. Heck the owner of the Indian place I frequent was in cowboy boots the other day, it was great!
JasonJ Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Austin is weird. "Don't mess with Texas" yet "Keep Austin weird" BBQ happiness
Murph Posted May 14, 2019 Author Posted May 14, 2019 The Rudy's in New Braunfels is wonderful, they have pulled pork bbq. Never had a bad meal at Rudys.
Mr King Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Damn you Jason, that looks so good right now, especially since I have not had breakfast yet.
JasonJ Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Can make it even better by swapping out the standard sliced bread with this

And cook soup in a pit with hot stones from the fire? Do these twinkies come prepacked in foil to survive TEOTWAWKI?
DKTanker Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 The coolest and wettest spring I have seen in a number of years. I am not complaining, because in August we will be begging for rain. The best part is that beef prices are going to drop even further. Ranchers are going to get two, maybe three cuttings this summer. First the beef critters will feast, and then we'll feast.

Murph Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 Dr. Pepper glaze: 2 liter bottle of Dr. Pepper1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon course ground black pepper1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)1/2 teaspoon thyme (optional)1/2 teaspoon rosemary (option) Cook the Dr. Pepper till it can coat the back of a spoon, then add the other ingredients, and whisk, whisk, whisk till it gets a little thicker. BE CAREFUL IT WILL GO FROM RIGHT TO BURNT IN A NEW YORK MINUTE! Once it has thickened to your preference removed from heat, and put in a pyrex container to cool. It goes great on ribs, thick cut pork chops, and such. Enjoy.

It'll have to wait though, wide ocean and such. But because of that, I took a bottle of Rudy's BBQ sauce back here and keep the now-empty-bottle in the house, hehe

We go for the freshly made tortillas from the HEB bake shop. Personally I like to wrap brisket in maize tortillas.
