rmgill Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Getting to be on one of Doughnut Operator, Angry Cops AND Civil Rights Lawyer's channels of what NOT to do is probably not a good career move. On the flop side, the standard media response to even a good shoot is often off in left field because those mouth breathers don't understand the basics of deadly force law.
Murph Posted March 1, 2024 Author Posted March 1, 2024 No, they do not, neither do Soros Prosecutors.
NickM Posted March 1, 2024 Posted March 1, 2024 I'm surprised there is no news on the Texas panhandle fires. The newsies being their usual breathless selves

Murph Posted April 2, 2024 Author Posted April 2, 2024 We had one of those highly annoying "mud rains" last night, the car was filthy when I went out this morning.
rmgill Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Wait, it rains mud? I guess sand/dust in the air is grabbed by rain and but not enough rain to clear the rest of the dirt off what is 'mudded upon'?

Murph Posted April 3, 2024 Author Posted April 3, 2024 When the US was still free. Great movie btw: Frank Hamer is a real Texas hero. He used a .35 remington Model 11 with a 20 round magazine to get Bonnie and Clyde.
Murph Posted April 4, 2024 Author Posted April 4, 2024 Still applies, I think in Austin. I think most of the legislators are either drunk, stoned, or just really stupid.

Mind you, I can still remember the remarkable sunsets we got when Mount St Helens blew up, which just goes to show how far some of this stuff flies in the stratosphere.

Get London to Re-activate Battersea to burn coal again and you'll have wonderful sunsets in your region. Particulate help make those great sunsets. When we have large brush or pine forest fires in the south west side of the state (actually good practice to burn out the undergrowth and the pine forests are mostly immune to it) we get great sunsets AND a really nice smell on the air. The many miles of distance means the wood smoke had scattered leaving just the nice aromatics on the wind.
