We had one of those highly annoying "mud rains" last night, the car was filthy when I went out this morning.

Get London to Re-activate Battersea to burn coal again and you'll have wonderful sunsets in your region. Particulate help make those great sunsets. 

When we have large brush or pine forest fires in the south west side of the state (actually good practice to burn out the undergrowth and the pine forests are mostly immune to it) we get great sunsets AND a really nice smell on the air. The many miles of distance means the wood smoke had scattered leaving just the nice aromatics on the wind.
