I'm starting to think that putting this guy in charge of the litigation efforts was a bit of a mistake.

Give that man two dinosaur models.

I feel represented by the speech of this Englishman

Quote

If you overturn democracy then America will become just another part of the brutal undemocratic world and if that happens nothing will ever, ever be the same again.

Here’s a view of what’s happening in the USA right now from Paul Weston, a tea-drinking, roast-beef-eating, pub-crawling Brit.

(...)

I hope and pray this will be resolved by the legal process, but I implore the Democrats, the left-wingers, the socialists and the communists to stop pretending what you have done is acceptable. It is not, and the consequences could be catastrophic both for you, for America and for the world. You are amongst the luckiest people ever to have existed on this planet. You represent a fleeting moment in time when you can live as no people before you have ever lived. Yet still you are unhappy. Cut off and cosseted from a world of brutality, poverty and misery you exist at the furthest extremity of decadence where your immense good fortune goes unrecognised and is instead replaced with a misplaced sense of bitterness, envy and hatred. You live in a wonderful country at a time of never before seen peace and prosperity, of freedom and democracy, yet you are now engaged in an action that could bring about the horrors of 20th century Europe. I am, as I say, an upstart limey, but this upstart limey is filled with a sense of foreboding and I beg you to stop what you are doing before the unthinkable becomes a physical reality. If you overturn democracy then America will become just another part of the brutal undemocratic world and if that happens nothing will ever, ever be the same again.

And that is exactly a problem. They know no real hardship and as such have no idea what they are trying to bring not only on their, but on everyone's head.

Not really, Allan, not really. From him I've got only this bit.

After searching a bit, and dodging another, more famous, Paul Weston, I could see he has some not very popular views in different issues.

However, I do not see how the piece I linked could be thought as anything but a defense of democracy.

Elaboration.

According to Trumps press secretary there were over one million marchers. Must have been some crazy times!

I wouldn't put much stock in the numbers as they are always exaggerated. It was a large number tho.

Now this looks like something straight out of The Godfather.

https://buffalochronicle.com/2020/11/14/exclusive-how-a-philly-mob-boss-stole-the-election-and-why-he-may-flip-on-joe-biden/

Quote

The innermost circles of the American mafia are abuzz.  The Boss of the Philly mob — ‘Skinny Joey’ Merlino — is taking a victory strut, hobnobbing around the highest echelons of old-time mafia folk, mostly in Florida, describing what may have been the heist of the century: the 2020 presidential election.

The feat is drawing praise from far-flung corners of the Italian American business community, which sees the thanks of a grateful administration as key to the revival of the community’s political influence.

But an associate says that Merlino might just be willing to flip on Joe Biden and the Pennsylvania political operatives who ordered up some 300,000 election ballots marked for Biden.  The source alleges that Merlino and a lean team of associates manufactured those ballots at a rate of $10 per ballot — a whopping $3 million for three days of work.  They were then packaged into non-descript cardboard boxes and dropped off outside the Philadelphia Convention Center.

(...)

I do not see him turning on Biden. No WPP is going to protect him of an Arkancide/Epstein-like suicide.

The US military has been told to prepare to withdraw from Afghanistan in the next two months.

(Edit). That apparently includes Iraq as well.

Before anyone slaps the table, I would ask you listen to this man's perspective first.

What he is saying is, basically, “Army (in industrial age) is part of society” and it is not new since it least Bolsheviks idea of turning Imperial war into Civil one. As I said many times before, both Trump and his opponents are not illness – but symptoms.  And it is quite logical for US Army to demonstrate the same symptoms as US Society in general. May be in other proportions (since Army is not representative sample for natural reasons).

We have seen this all during USSR implosion and following years.

Mistake? There is so much proff the election saw heavy manipulation that the results should be scrapped and state governors should decide for whom they vote in the end. Trump is the true winner!

If there is so much proof, how come none has been presented? Not that I don't believe you but it would be nice to see it.

I am slightly confused by the different methods used to cast votes in the US.

I'm mostly interested in the difference between an "advanced" (sic) vote and a mail-in vote.

Aside from the slightly facetious comment that an advanced vote is obviously better than a basic one, what's the difference between voting in advance and a mail-in vote?

I ask because for Georgia, the proportion of voters for each of the two main candidates was markedly different, with Trump supporters being significantly less likely to use mail-in votes (between about 30% and 65% proportionally with a couple of outliers) than Biden supporters, whereas the variation in advanced votes was between 60% and 110% again with a couple of outliers. For these numbers, the closer to 100% the numbers are, the less difference there is between the two camps.

Looks like you need to wait until the Supreme Court of the US pass judgement.

Then, there are some excerpts, commented, of a WSJ article.

Advanced voting is the polls are open for voting before the actual voting day. This is usually used by people who for whatever reason can't vote on election day.
