So as I understand it, the big take away is that Trump is guilty of obstruction of justice, and the proof of his guilt is the absence of evidence against him. Mueller knew he was guilty, he couldn't find the evidence to support his conclusion, therefor he concluded that Trump did in fact obstruct justice, he just couldn't prove it.

DA: You're guilty

Defendant: What's the evidence?

DA: There is no evidence, that is the evidence.

Trump is the epitome of everything bad about N.Y.C. He is a wealthy crooked version of:

Crooked eh? in the most mobbed up 'occupation' in one of the most mobbed up cities in the Eastern Seaboard and neither the unions nor the pols nor the mob could lay a finger on him.

I thought we were investigating treasonous collusion with the Russians to rig an election and steal the Presidency and yet we always end up with "Orange Man Bad" as the proof.

My favorite part:

REPORTER: Are you trying to protect the president?

BARR: I told you what is in the report, what's wrong with that?

R: You face an unprecedented situation

BARR: Is there another precedent for it?

R: No

BARR: Unprecedented is an accurate description then

R: Yeah, but....

Immoral but non-criminal behavior!

In other words Trump is a ... politician. Oh, the horror. :)

I'm curious if his supporters will ever admit he can be bad and immoral. :P

I don't know many trumpers who will say he's a moral man. Most Trump fans I know see him as an imperfect vessel for the policies and attitudes they want.

From my own experience the above is rare. It's a bit reassuring to hear accounts like this, though.

Earlier this month the US visa of an ICC prosecutor was revoked when she attempted to investigate alleged war crimes in Afghanistan. https://www.google.nl/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/05/world/europe/us-icc-prosecutor-afghanistan.amp.html&ved=2ahUKEwj5xbqO89nhAhWK16QKHbDNBL8QFjABegQIARAB&usg=AOvVaw2-7gQyvu8o0L4aq2_YUzww&ampcf=1

Apparently the US and the ICC differ in what they perceive as war crimes.

It would be interesting to read an account from a non partisan source.

It is hard to get a Mafia Don as it is his lackeys who take the fall for him.

Go ahead, explain. Explain just who it is that has fallen on their sword for Trump, and the crime they were found guilty of instead of Trump being found guilty for that crime.

I'm pretty sure they're aware and can do so. The point is though that the left has been BIG on allowing immoral behavior. Trump is the response to that.

What's appalling is that the left wants acceptance for groups like homosexuals. When you have a republican who has a family member who is gay, what does the left do? Attempt to make that person's gay sexuality a political issue.

This demonstrates that the left doesn't give a SHIT about those groups. They just use their protection as a political club to beat the opposition. The first chance they get to use it as a wedge or as a club the other way, they have ZERO qualms.

So, no, at this point, I don't give a rat's ass that Trump banged a porn star. That's between him and Mrs Trump.

You think Michael Cohen made those payments on his own? Lol. Why do you think Trump had him as his personal lawyer for 10 years?

Bad and immoral is ok as long as liberal tears. Partisanship/tribalism is everything when your self identity starts with an L, D, R, or a C.

Regressive fever dreams. Trump doens't care if you're gay, straight, black, white or what ever.

No, he does care, include female in that list. It just pales in comparison to if you stroke his ego or bruise it.

You lack of understanding knows no bounds. Trump is not "guilty of obstruction". There was no "no evidence" of obstruction

Mueller didn't "know" Trump was guilty, unless you can read his mind. He found plenty of evidence of obstruction, but it was Trump's erratic public behavior and lack of a deliberate coordination effort that resulted in not indicting on obstruction. This is all available in open source reading, so I can only guess what information you base your misunderstandings on.

You never, ever, talk to a Fed.

The shitlibs are all butthurt that the Trump camp didn't just surrender or roll over for them. Like the GOP normally does, in their role as the Washington Generals. S/F...Ken M

Word is that Andrew Weissman who is the corrupt persecutor of Enron was so mad that he could not get Trump, that he made sure that the final report f**ked Trump by declining to find on obstruction. That is what I expected, and people like Rush had been cautioning about, that they would make the report a poison pen to get Trump anyway. In the end Trump won, the Enemies of the People lost, and now the reckoning begins. I am so looking forward to Comey, McCabe, Ohr, Clinton, et al wearing orange jump suits.

None of them are going to wear orange jumpsuits. Many of Trump's staff are however. Including his personal "fixer" of ten years.

remember what Weissman did to the Arthur Anderson Company

True and he is proof why the US Attorney system needs to be brought to heel. Brennan, Clapper, et al will really look shocked when the handcuffs go on.....

Let's hope they get the Manafort treatment, early morning SWAT teams and solitary confinement.

I think Rush has it right, Trump did attempt obstruction. He attempted to obstruct a coup perpetrated by the Obama DoJ and cheered on by GOP NeverTrumpers.

Absolutely. The Obama DOj, Obama IC, Obama FBI, and the GOP Never Trumpers committed treason, and tried to overthrown a duly elected president. Can you imagine the howls if Trump had been a Democrat?

F**cking POS Mitt Romney, he really is worthless.

`

We dodged a couple bullets between him and McCain. At least with Obama there was no confusion as to him being the enemy of conservatives.
