Various political groups go around also registering people to vote. You can also mail in a registration.

 

In orer to vote, the left wants it to be as simple as show some form of non identifying id, like. Utility bill or a social security card. And vote. Or you can show the drivers license that stateslike Caifornia is now issueing to illegal immigrants.

 

The latest dodge is to submit absentee ballots to another stae where you registered before. Even worse there seems to be an effort to mandate that absentee ballots be counted and be easy to submit just because you feel like it. There also early voting so you can vote i. A different district and get your votes counted early and you can demonstrate that your guy is going to win, so the other voters get disillusioned...

Nominally yes, but with each passing election cycle it is becoming easier and easier to circumvent that requirement. Moreover, if the latest demands from the US political left were met, anybody in the world who could get themselves within the borders of the United States, would be eligible to vote in US elections.

A minor quibble. You are not automatically registered, you are automatically asked if you would like to register and if you answer yes, you can quickly register as part of the driver license application.

Legally, you're required to be a citizen and a resident. However the Democrats have been contriving to make it so easy to dodge the rules that folks can vote twice or more times.

 

We had a big kerfuffle with our absentee ballots in the last election. The Democrat gubernatorial candidate was campaigning to help people get absentee ballots accepted. The state posted a list of ballots that had been received and their status, I got a look at it and my dead neighbor was on it.

 

Part of the argument was over purging of the voter rolls of people ineligible to vote. When my own mother died, it was 3 election cycles before I stopped getting her voter registration status good notices in the mail. I could have voted with just a utility bill at that point.

What Was Obama's Role?

 

In the wake of the Mueller report’s completion, Barack Obama continues to stand aloof — a god king exempt from the trifling concerns of mortals.

 

The mainstream media remain invincibly incurious regarding the former president’s role in the Russia affair. Presumably, underlings in Obama’s national-security apparatus were running about obtaining FISA warrants, leaking, unmasking, and spying on a presidential campaign and transition without the former president’s involvement, let alone direction. He remained oblivious despite Lisa Page’s September 2, 2016 text to Peter Strzok that “potus wants to know everything we’re doing.” Everything? There was a heckuva lot going on.

 

You’d think that there might be one or two questions for the man who’d assembled one of the most incompetent national-security teams in history. Congressional Democrats maintain that there were Russians behind nearly every tree and shrub in Washington during the 2016 election cycle, yet those charged with protecting the U.S. and its election system against such foreign interference — DNI James Clapper, CIA Director John Brennan, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, FBI Director James Comey, Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe — seem primarily to have been disturbed about such interference after Trump won. Interestingly, news reports indicate that when the National Security Council’s cybersecurity experts were poised to respond to Russian election meddling, Rice told them to “stand down.” Attorney General Lynch didn’t even give Trump a standard defensive briefing about Russian attempts to infiltrate his campaign. Their nonfeasance and malfeasance are of little concern to the press. Rather, the press seeks out their wise commentary.

 

The press spent two-and-a-half years obsessed with everything pertaining to the Trump campaign and Russia but precious little time, if any, unpacking the implications of Rice’s email to herself about the January 5, 2017 meeting concerning the Russia investigation among Obama, Rice, Comey, Vice President Joe Biden, and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates. Rice sent the email on her government computer at 12:15 p.m. January 20, 2017 — minutes after Trump was inaugurated. It read, “The President stressed that he is not asking about, initiating, or instructing anything from a law enforcement perspective. He reiterated that our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would by the book.”

 

The press behaves as if the upper reaches of the federal government were on automatic pilot during the 2016 election cycle; as if Obama’s underlings had free reign over the place and he was a mere bystander.

As much as I would like to see Obama behind bars where he belongs like the criminal he is, I don't think it is ever going to happen. The system is so corrupted by these people that you can't even get a low level flunky of theirs caught on tape perpetrating a crime, prosecuted.

I've mentioned my laments with Blizzard over in the gaming forum but this apparently isn't quite what it seems. The only place I could find anything about this was over in r/The_Donald. Several posters mentioned this likely occurred due to an automated process where if enough folks flag you the system forces you to change your name without any humans taking part in the decision at Blizzard's end (this is a big issue across the board with tech platforms today). Someone claiming to be this guy said exactly that - that he was never banned and simply had to change this handle when he logged in. Others also commented, some from personal experience, that it would be fairly easy to get his name back if he simply protested and talked to a real person. The guy in question wasn't aware of that and stated he was going to try.

 

That was last night. This morning his reddit account hasn't had any updates. Will be interesting to see if he ever does. Reddit users are notorious for never following up (whether it's because it ends up changing the narrative, they're lazy, or a slew of other reasons).
