Ivanhoe Posted October 17, 2025 Posted October 17, 2025 https://www.zerohedge.com/political/foreign-espionage-arrests-50-fbi Quote “We have gone after espionage activities against our main counterparts in China, Russia, and Iran,” he said at a press conference. “In China alone, we’ve had over a 50 percent increase in espionage arrests alone, and prosecutions,” Patel said. “In Iran, we have had a 50 percent increase, again, in espionage cases. And in Russia, we had a 33 percent increase in espionage cases alone.” https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/senior-state-department-adviser-arrested-accused-of-taking-top-secret-docs-meeting-with-chinese-5929337 Quote A senior adviser to the U.S. State Department has been arrested and accused of taking thousands of top-secret documents and meeting with Chinese officials, according to court documents filed by the Department of Justice on Oct. 13. The accusations date back to 2022, according to court documents obtained by The Epoch Times. Senior adviser Ashley Tellis was arrested Oct. 11 and accused of unlawful retention of national defense information, according to the affidavit filed in the District Court of Eastern District of Virginia. Tellis held a top-secret clearance and had access to sensitive information, which he allegedly used to secure classified documents. Prosecutors detailed in court documents instances when they say Tellis downloaded and saved sensitive documents about U.S. fighter aircraft and weapons capabilities. Investigators who searched his Vienna, Virginia, home claim they uncovered more than a thousand pages of documents marked “TOP SECRET” and “SECRET.” https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/department-state-employee-sentenced-transmitting-national-defense-information-suspected Quote A U.S. Department of State (DOS) employee was sentenced today to 48 months in prison for conspiring to collect and transmit national defense information to individuals he believed to be working for the government of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). Quote In October 2024, while at work, Schena used the cellphone he received in Peru to photograph and transmit at least four classified documents that contained national defense information and which were classified at the SECRET level. In February 2025, surveillance video captured Schena again using the cellphone to photograph seven documents marked as SECRET that contained national defense information. FBI agents seized the cellphone before Schena could transmit photographs of these classified documents to his handlers, and arrested Schena. At this point, America's government, academy, and economy has PRC agents running through them like kudzu* roots. It will take at least a generation to uproot most of them. * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3A2JWoAA64

Maybe, but only an idiot deserving legal attention "writes notes to themselves" in AOL email accounts and references classified information. The fact that it was a vile actor like Bolton makes it all the sweeter.
Ivanhoe Posted October 17, 2025 Posted October 17, 2025 Pretty obvious that DoW and DoS have not been adhering to the Need To Know principle.

I personally don't care if someone uses a can of aerosol in a manner not intended by the manufacturer or law. I also don't care if someone picks up a bald eagle feather and takes it home. What I care about is folks committing violent, predatory felnoies upon other citizens and then getting to walk out of court on low or no bond and then go and do it again. At LEAST in most of the US the citizens have a chance to fight back against such monsters as what killed Miss Zarutska (not that she had that ability given the circumstances).

The kick there is that the Sackett case wasn't even a felony as far as I know. It was an administrative fine of $35,000 per day with no court hearing. Which EVERYONE in the court, even the liberals had some problem with. Which was why Sackett I was 9-0 against the feds.

It would seem tempting to use Tomahawks against the Crimean Bridge.

I'm thinking Bolton went on the Sunday morning political talk show circuit to convince people that Trump was criminally negligent in handling classified documents while simultaneously holding all manner of documents classified as Top Secret and allowing them to fall into the hands of the Iranian government. I think it is impossible for any jury to find him not guilty of several crimes. On a separate but related note. I'm hearing rumblings that Mike Pence, yes that Mike Pence, was an FBI mole in the Trump White House. And that sanctimonious snake has designs for running in 2028?
Tim the Tank Nut Posted October 17, 2025 Posted October 17, 2025 Pence as a mole is not an unreasonable assessment.

But who knows, maybe he has been a sinless altar boy his whole life and this is first time he got his fingers dirty.
Ivanhoe Posted October 17, 2025 Posted October 17, 2025 I've seen the RUMINT about Pence getting charged, but nothing credible TMK. Lets say I won't be surprised if he had a hand in the J6 frameup, and sadly I could see him leaking docs to get rid of Trump. I haven't seen a compare-and-contrast of Pence's comments about J6. Again, it would not surprise me if he told the public some lies about the situation. It'd be nice for a Matt Taibbi type to perform a fact check.

Too many Administrative Felonies which are not any sort of evil act themselves.

urbanoid Posted October 18, 2025 Posted October 18, 2025 A few words from our local 'trumpologist' Quote 1. Wojczal: Trump puts pressure on Zelensky because he wants a raw materials deal. Voices: You're justifying a Russian agent; he wants to sell out Ukraine. Trump: Secures a raw materials deal and shifts the narrative. Voices: Zelensky outplayed that idiot Trump; Wojczal doesn’t know what he’s talking about. 2. Wojczal: Trump pressures partners because the goal is the reindustrialisation of the USA and the sale of American gas and oil; the USA has the upper hand and will change the rules of Western primacy. Voices: The USA has no cards, it will lose the trade war because the West and the rest of the world will gang up against it; he’s a fool. Trump: Forces the West (and beyond) to accept American tariffs and open their markets to Americans. Voices: Trump has ruined the USA because Americans pay the tariffs; Wojczal, you’re rationalising an idiot. 3. Wojczal: Trump will fail in negotiations with Putin and will have to use the stick; expect escalation with Russia and equipment for Ukraine. Voices: That idiot Trump will end up making a deal with Putin and sell out Ukraine; a ceasefire or peace will be disastrous, we’re done for <panic>. Trump: Fails to reach an agreement with Putin, makes a deal with Zelensky. Voices: That idiot Trump got played by both Putin and Zelensky. 4. Wojczal: The USA will use the stick it to Russia, but first, it had to bring Europe into line and secure a deal with Zelensky. Voices: And where’s this stick? What subjugation? Americans will pay for the tariffs, and there’ll be inflation plus a recession in the USA; Trump is daft. Trump: For two months, the USA has been sending equipment paid for by Europe, providing data that helps Ukraine destroy Russian energy infrastructure; in the USA, inflation is stable, and the economy is growing. Voices: Where’s the stick! Trump’s an agent. 5. Wojczal: Trump is outplaying Putin; Russia is losing influence worldwide. Voices: Russia is outplaying Trump; red carpet, we’ll die because of this idiot <panic>. Trump: Bombs Iran, makes deals with Armenia and Azerbaijan, strikes a deal with OPEC to lower oil prices, imposes tariffs on India for importing from Russia, pressures Venezuela and Cuba, pushes Europe not to buy Russian oil, forces NATO to aim for 5% of GDP on defence. Voices: Red carpet, phone call to Putin! Wojczal, you’re rationalising an idiot. 6. Trump: Putin, watch out! I’ll give Ukraine Tomahawks! Wojczal: Strategic signalling, breaking new taboos, threatening Russia, a new topic the USA hadn’t raised before. Voices: Trump’s an idiot; he won’t give them anyway, but who knows why he mentioned them. Trump: Zelensky goes shopping in the USA, visits Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, has a good talk with Trump and understands what the Tomahawk talk is about. Voices: Ha! He didn’t give the Tomahawks; he’s still a moron and Putin’s lackey; Wojczal, you’re rationalising an idiot. I know that under “Voices,” you should substitute: - Ukrainian trolls who dislike Trump because he doesn’t give equipment for free and pressured Zelensky. - Russian trolls who got activated because the Kremlin figured out what’s going on, hence the provocative behaviour (drones over Poland). - Democrat and German trolls, because they hate Trump (political warfare). The worst part of all this is that some people in Poland are genuinely susceptible to such a shallow narrative (Trump’s stupidity explains everything, no need to make an effort). And they’re so susceptible to all these forces of influence instead of trying to rationally assess events. And that’s exactly why I do what I do here. So that, at the end of the day, as few people as possible wake up in just their socks, blaming their fate on the stupidity of those who fleeced them bare. https://x.com/KWojczal/status/1979468862534901969 Quote So it looks like they’re thinking in Washington. Since Putin is afraid of Tomahawks, they should be used as a tool of pressure and boundary-setting. Because if Tomahawks couldn’t be used, what would be left? Nuclear weapons? This is precisely what politics and testing an opponent look like. Putin was doing exactly the same thing two years ago when he hinted at using tactical nuclear weapons. Only he got muzzled by the Chinese and shut up on the subject. The Americans were supplying tanks, Patriots, intelligence data, and it didn’t make an impression. Until Putin heard the word Tomahawk and personally requested a phone call. So, there is something they fear in the Kremlin that wouldn’t immediately trigger a nuclear war (this is important! They needed to find a deterrent that could be used/transferred). Tomahawks are nothing more than the USA setting a boundary. Fighting in Ukraine? Then fight there. Provoking and threatening NATO? (Drones over Poland?) Then you’ll be hit by Ukrainians with Tomahawks. THIS IS A TOOL OF DIPLOMACY If they were given to Ukraine now, drones might be flying over Poland every week. Because the Russians would feel threatened and go full-on hybrid against us. But now there’s a stick they’re afraid of. Something with Cyrillic on its warhead falls in Poland? Then a Tomahawk will fall on your critical infrastructure. I know the Ukrainians would be thrilled with these missiles, and I know it’d be great to watch fireworks in Russia. BUT, you have to look at the bigger picture. Now the USA can send everything else to Ukraine, while Tomahawks remain the boundary and the deterrent. A double win. Just 2-3 years ago, the US didn’t want to escalate by sending mere tanks or infantry fighting vehicles. Now, the Russians are basically saying: OK, anything but Tomahawks. And the Americans: OK, fight where the war is, but keep away from NATO. And other equipment will keep flowing to Ukraine anyway. That’s why Zelenskyy was meeting with the US defence industry https://x.com/KWojczal/status/1979312430800044409
