Licensed NoKor version will be named Kimzhal.

Bestest Korea dosen't have an aircraft capable of launching a Kinzal. The most modern aircraft are old MIg29A's and they still fly Mig17's :) :) :)

They do not need Kinzhal  - it is de-facto air-launched version of Iskander, and iskander itself is quite good fot Korea theater.

NK is space power, able to produce ballistic missiles that could potentially cover entire continental territory of USA up to East Coast (if i remember correctly). I do not think Iskander technology is of significant value for them - yes may be they currently can't make it as compact and accurate, but they do not really need to as they are relatively small mountain country with lots of natural and artificial cover, and their targets do nit require mucj accuracy to hit them..... More logical choice for them to ask from Russia is recon sattelite technology (to have own "eye in the sky" above SK, Japan and probably China), high-speed antiship missiles and commodities like oil and grain to feed population and fuel agriculture and industry.

I remember reading sometime / somewhere about a new ballistic missile produced in bestest Korea looking like a Russian Iskander. I wonder if it was Russian manufactured?

No, but NK got at least some of the help with missiles from Ukraine in the 1990s.

Probably this, btw Worst Korea also has a missile that looks very much like Iskander.

They all look very similar. I wonder if "form follows function".

The last thing I would imagine the North Koreans would need Russian help for is the basic shape and dimensions of their missiles.  Targeting algorithms, propellant technology, metallurgy, reliability, mass production, would be the areas I would expect the NK's would be looking for technical assistance.

Comparing fairings of the missile w/o looking inside is like comparing cars w/o knowing which engine they got.

Especially when high Mach numbers' aerodynamics dictates the shape, yes.

Yes. The Chinese have one as well. While the closest U.S. equivalents have different shapes, that is because they are much smaller and sized for artillery rocket launchers. If you look at the nose of a HARM or the new LRHW glider you will see a biconical nose reminiscent of the nose of TBMs. It is a more efficient shape than a single curved or angled nose in very high pressure air streams (generated by greater air density at sea level, extreme speed at higher altitudes, or combination of both).

Not some, a lot of help, NK ICBMs are land based version of Soviet SLBMs produced in Ukraine.

North Korea announced on Wednesday that it successfully test-fired a new intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) equipped with a hypersonic warhead.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un declared that the regime’s missile system was complete as all missiles are "solid-fueled, warhead-controlled" and nuclear-armed.

Kim guided the test for the Hwasong-16 missile, an IRBM equipped with a newly developed hypersonic warhead, on Tuesday, according to an English-language report on Wednesday from the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

The test launch confirmed the overall design and technical characteristics of the missile and verified the reliability of the weapon system, the KCNA said.

Actually it is interesting The Great Leader is risking his life standing near missile while it is prepared for launch. Probably, he is not aware of Marchal Nedelin's death

They are not idiots - idiots were those people in Rus Gov (including diplomatic core) who were following US line for three decades. US officials are quite logical in expecting the same people to do the same - as they know them, their foreign assets, their children in Western schools or even with Western citisenships etc.

Is Best Korea about to invade Worse Korea? a look at the DMZ, but a curious suggestion at the end, that Best Korea right now has the best opportunity ever to re-unify with Worse Korea by force.
