rmgill Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 True. But if the water is deposited as snow, or it manifests more as more cloud cover it has a negative return on heat input.
MiloMorai Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 No worries as Trump says the oceans will only rise 1/8" in the next 300 years.

Over 5 feet of snow fell over areas just east of Buffalo, with mere inches a few miles away to the north. There were 13 fatalities with this storm, hundreds of major roof collapses and structural failures, 1000s of stranded motorists, and scattered food and gas shortages due to impassable roads. Numerous trees also gave way due to the weight of the snow, causing isolated power outages. While this storm was impressive on its own, a second lake effect event on Nov-19-20 dropped another 1-4 feet of snow over nearly the same area and compounded rescue and recovery efforts. Storm totals from the two storms peaked at nearly 7 feet, with many areas buried under 3-4 feet of dense snowpack by the end of the event..." https://www.currentresults.com/Yearly-Weather/USA/NY/Buffalo/extreme-annual-buffalo-snowfall.php Highest daily snowfall recorded at Buffalo each year Inches Date Centimetres 10.2 November 25, 2005 25.9 24.9 November 20, 2000 63.2 19.0 November 30, 1976 48.3 14.1 November 30, 1960 35.8 13.2 November 29, 1955 33.5 10.3 November 07, 1953 26.2 10.3 November 27, 1952 26.2 16.1 November 16, 1949 40.9 10.1 November 12, 1932 25.7 14.4 November 17, 1920 36.6

Strange that from 1893, the amount of snowfall levels were pretty consistent except for the odd blip in 1936, 1976, 1982-5, 1995, 2000, 2001 and 2020 when there was major dumps (over 18"). It looks like these major dumps are increasing from 1976. Climate change people say that storms will get more sever and happen more often.

Hallam, who also founded the climate group Extinction Rebellion, said in 2019 that there were many other instances of cruelty in human history besides the Holocaust, in an interview at the time with German media outlet Die Zeit, according to The Guardian. After facing widespread criticism for the comments, Hallam noted the climate crisis was another Holocaust on a “far greater scale.” “They went to the Congo in the late 19th century and decimated it,” he continued. “[The Holocaust was] almost a normal event. Just another f—ery in human history.”
sunday Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 Patrick Moore on Earth needing more CO2 Quote Patrick Moore is a founding member and past president of Greenpeace. He no longer supports the organisation and its devolution into a champagne socialist anti-humanity woke brigade. Patrick is a scientist with over 30 years of environmental research and peer-reviewed papers behind him, although many groups have since attempted to discredit him because he rejects the “scientific consensus“. When it comes to climate change, he knows more than most people, which is why Greenpeace has removed his name from its “founding members” list and claims that he was never a founding member.
