The Extremism from "centrist" parties continue. Attack against food production.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — Denmark will tax livestock farmers for the greenhouse gases emitted by their cows, sheep and pigs from 2030, the first country to do so as it targets a major source of methane emissions, one of the most potent gases contributing to global warming.

The aim is to reduce Danish greenhouse gas emissions by 70% from 1990 levels by 2030, said Taxation Minister Jeppe Bruus.

As of 2030, Danish livestock farmers will be taxed 300 kroner ($43) per ton of carbon dioxide equivalent in 2030. The tax will increase to 750 kroner ($108) by 2035. However, because of an income tax deduction of 60%, the actual cost per ton will start at 120 kroner ($17.3) and increase to 300 kroner by 2035. (...)

If you connect the dots between the War on Oil and the War on Meat, it pretty clearly points to a War on Food.

Control the food supply, control the plebes.

In Germany a steam locomotive over 100 years old employed for tourism is being called to do work since there are not enough diesel ones.

....But the Karlsruhe steam nostalgia, part of the Ulm Railway Friends, keeps one of these locomotives still operational. Normally it is responsible for special trips and is part of the Ulm Railway Friends fleet, whose trains can also be chartered. For example, the club charges 3,500 euros plus VAT for a steam locomotive from the fleet including a few wagons.

However, the current rents reported by the BNN are unusual. For example, a rental request came from an unnamed track construction company that actually needed a diesel locomotive. However, this was not available The club instead referred to the 58 311, resulting in a request for a bid. The club was ultimately awarded the contract to later pull a construction train.

However, the effort required to operate the locomotive will be high. Because it is not as easy to "upgrade" as a diesel locomotive. Steam locomotives take some time to warm the boiler.

According to BNN, it will not be the only mission. Among other things, Deutsche Bahn will also use the steam locomotive. There is a good chance that the 58 311 around the Riedbahn will be seen and heard more often...

The local NBC affiliate talkin' 'bout how the Cali powergrid endured the 'heatwave';  comments of course have to gloat about the 'forward thinking' leadership Cali has while, in Texas, the storm has wiped out major cities. Frankly I am surprised about the power staying on in NorCal (coast to the Tahoe basin)

Even fish hate Teslas!

Cynthia and Jeff Levine had no idea what smashed the windshield of their 2023 Tesla Y in their driveway on Sunday afternoon. Cynthia said the car alarm started beeping and when they went to investigate, they saw their windshield was shattered in a bullseye pattern.

...

Sure, enough, the Levine's found a one-pound bluefish on the garage floor, which had been open that the time. Levine said the most logical explanation is a bird fished it out of the water and dropped it by mistake. Bluefish are a very common gamefish to the Jersey Shore that easily grow to 10 or more pounds.

Things get weirder;

Last August, JCP&L said a fish caused a power outage when it hit a transformer and caused it to explode in Sayreville, about 20 miles east-northeast of Atlantic Highlands. Police even drew a sketch of a bird, their lead suspect, in a tongue-in-cheek news release.

Award-winning journalist Alex Newman provides a PERFECT summary of the climate scam, in under two minutes: "The notion that CO2 is pollution is absolutely preposterous... The idea that [it's] going to destroy the planet or change the temperature of the Earth is totally ludicrous." "But from a totalitarian perspective, if you can convince people that CO2 is pollution, there's no human activity that doesn't result in CO2 emissions, including living, including dying, turning on a light switch." "Every single aspect of your life, then, if we submit to the idea that CO2 is pollution, then comes under the regulatory control of the people who claim to be saving us from pollution."

Dang, I did a video search for "Alex Newman" and "climate" he's covered all sorts of good stuff.

I am not absolutely sure of understanding the nuts and bolts of this paper, but if what the authors claim is true, then there is a temperature rise that was not due to CO2.

Nikolov & Zeller: Misrepresentation of Critical Satellite Data by IPCC

(...)These observations are crucial for the quantification of global climate dynamics and proper evaluation of climate drivers. CERES data have shown that the Earth’s average annual absorption of solar energy increased by 2.0 W m-2 from 2000 to 2020 (and by 2.7 W m-2 between 2000 and 2023) due to a decrease in planetary albedo, which was mostly driven by a reduction of low-level clouds. For comparison, according to the IPCC AR6, the total anthropogenic forcing from 1750 to 2019 was 2.72 W m-2 (Forster et al. 2021, Section 7.3.5.2). Hence, the solar forcing measured over the past 2.4 decades has the same magnitude as the anthropogenic forcing estimated by models for the past 27 decades!

Quote

After examining the IPCC data repository at GitHub.com and communicating with two lead authors of Chapter 7, we found out that the CERES global anomalies of reflected shortwave and outgoing longwave radiation have been multiplied by -1 in the computer code employed to generate Fig. 7.3. This caused inversion of the long-term trends of these key climate parameters. Dr. Matthew Palmer, one of the authors of Section 7.2.2, admitted in an email message that this trend inversion was done intentionally, but failed to provide a convincing justification for it.

Quote

(...)Had the IPCC acknowledged the increase of Earth’s sunlight absorption in the 21st Century, this would have invalidated the Report’s central assertion that human carbon emissions were the main driver of climate in recent decades. In conclusion, it appears that radiative flux anomalies in Fig. 7.3 were manipulated and a discussion about long-term all-sky CERES trends in Section 7.2.2 was intentionally omitted, because the actual observations present a significant empirical challenge to the UN’s political Agenda to promote Anthropogenic Climate Change set by Resolution A/RES/43/53 in 1988.

Geomagnetism and solar flux drives gamma ray influx which affects cloud formation, which drives albedo which drives solar input in Visible and IR wavelengths, that drives temperature.

Good luck controlling the Geomagnetism OR solar activity.

Go back to a carbon-intensive, cheaper economy thanks to cheaper electricity, and increase GDP, then there would be funds to worn in global warming mitigation efforts.

The Dutch managed to tame the North Sea, after all.
