And hey Coldsteel, glad to see you're still kicking or spinning round in circles.

Round and round, round and round. I keep pushing the button to let the driver know to stop the planet 'cos I want to get off but nothing happens. At least I think that's what that big red button is for ...

Ah, a Fawltey Towers fan!

:D It was that, or: “Once one survives the trough that comes with the understanding that people are going to go on being stupid and cruel to each other no matter what, probably for ever – if one survives; many people choose suicide at this point instead – then one starts to take the attitude, Oh well, never mind.”

How do you say cockup in aussie?

According to the voice acting in the 'Forgotten Hope 2' Mod, it's pronounced 'We're gettin' f/ked up here!'

It occurred to me that the RAN needs nuclear subs not to fight off China, but to hunt down people trying to escape the quarantine.

Nah, if people want to escape the quarantine to go to places that are not Australia then they should be allowed to go.  That is not to say that they will be allowed back however.

Which is one reason why I am so much against 'dual citizenship' as it is like having two marital families, so you can run away to the 'other one' when things get difficult in the one you spend most of your time in.

Any dual citizen should be at the very end of a list of 'Australians' who decide that they want to come back after leaving Australia during the plague.  They have somewhere else to live: let them live there.

Ok, that internet outage could be business as usual.

Then, woe to the Australian SAS troopers indicted of war crimes in Afghanistan, meanwhile near their homes:

The Law Report contacted all of Australia's police forces and found more than half now own LRADs.

Victorian, West Australian, South Australian and Queensland police, as well as the Australian Federal Police, admitted to purchasing the device, while New South Wales and Northern Territory police would not comment.

Melbourne University sound and law expert James Parker says potential use of the LRAD in Australia is deeply troubling.

'The secrecy of the state around the tools, the weapons that it has and is capable of using on its population is something to be really, really concerned about,' says Parker.

'It expands the nature of police/state/military authority in a certain kind of way. It makes sound itself part of the arsenal that police and military and state institutions have.

'I think there's a question about whether or not we want sound to be used in this way at all.'

The LRAD is marketed as a communication device, and was first used at sea by the US Navy and commercial shipping companies to ward off pirates.

Later, the device was deployed by the US military in Iraq and Afghanistan to clear buildings.

'They could play the LRAD's alert function at high volume, people wouldn't be able to stand it, they would run out and the snipers could pick them off,' says Parker.

Parker says LRADs have since been marketed 'quite aggressively' to military and police forces around the world.

Forget heavy duty LRADs:  Just get normal speakers attached to police vehicles and play Barry Manilow at reasonably high volumes.  All the bad dudes will leave the area soon after.

"On the 10th of September 2021, I was informed that I was being tasked to attend a citizen rally/protest in Melbourne on the 18th of September 2021. On this day I was asked by another member (who shall remain nameless) of Victoria Police if I was “excited” about attending so I could “crack some skulls”. Again, I found those remarks to be disgusting and further cements my views that some/many in Victoria Police ranks have lost sight of our core function, which is to protect the rights of Victorian citizens. I responded by asking the member “do you really believe that the people of Victoria who just want these restrictions ended so they can go on about their lives deserve to have their skulls cracked”? The member replied “well that’s the fault of all the unvaccinated people, like you”."

The odd sane officer does still exist, yet they will only see themselves purged for their stand, as the Communist regime solidifies power. It always goes like this. There is no peaceful way out of this situation.

SA were more sort of enforcers for the national socialists, weren't they? These I think are more your run of the mill Stasi type state security.
