The attack on the oil facility could just as easily be a response to the stepped up attacks on Russian refineries which have caused gasoline shortages.

Gasoline shortages where?

The oil attack is in reference to a report that the Russians had hit the SOCAR facility in Ukraine.  The Ukrainians said that Russia was targeting Azeri interests.   The cracking down on Azeris in Russia, this has been provided by Roman.

In what way attack on oil infrastructure in time of war (whatever is the owner of it) is something special? Real question to ask is "why only now?". As one pro-Rus commenter said "We deserve to know the name(s) of the person(s) who were removing this AZ installations from target lists for three years of war".

In the east of country, as it is reported here. Has the price changed at all around Moscow?

Not sure where it is reported, but the only fuel shortages are now on Kuril Islands (yes, it is "east of country", mext to Japan) where sale of petrol to private consumers is limited after recent earthquake (strongest ever measured in this region) and following tsunamo that washed away stocks amd da,maged ports causing delays in shipments (including shipments of fuel). But it is not linled in any way to drone attacks - total population of Kuril islands is about 20K, so even complete ban on petrol usage by such a tiny number of people will not be of any meaning for general petrol market of Russia.

I have not observed any changes on petrol stations here, but stock market prices on fuel are modestly up

"Fuel on the stock exchange has returned to growth

The stock quotes of AI-92 and AI-95 rose by 2% and 0.73%, respectively, today. The first one has started to rise in price for the first time in 6 days, and the second one has been gradually increasing for the third day. Despite this, prices are still significantly lower than the recently reached record levels. As we have already written, the peak demand period is most likely over. At the same time, prices may rise not only because of demand. And in the fall, we still have a harvesting campaign ahead of us, which will cause farmers to need a lot of fuel again." https://t.me/suverenka/15818

Fair enough, let us know if that changes.

Some people are engaged in victim narrative for Armenians, even in this thread on previous page. You can see this on twitter, reddit etc. People who have absolutely no idea on what they are talking about.

During First Karabakh War, Azerbaijan had 16 thousand civilian deaths versus 4 thousand Armenians. As I wrote on previous page, in Second Karabakh war and 2023 1-day operation combined there were less than 100 Armenian civilian deaths caused by Azerbaijani army. Somehow, this is compared to Ukraine and Gaza.

Just some of warcrimes commited by Armenians in First Karabakh War, as reported by HRW.

Btw, this is what Qubadli looked like after the war. Not a result of combat action, but looting and destruction post war. Every single Azerbaijani settlement that were occupied shared this fate. 600 thousand Azerbaijanis were ethnically cleansed and the settlements turned to rubble. But, Armenians are the victims. Let’s even compare Karabakh and Gaza while we are at it. Absolute clowns.

Like this guy, making a Karabakh & Gaza comparison, while using image of ruins of Aghdam. There are no words to describe this clownery.

Azerbaijani soldiers said that when they reached formerly occupied settlements, they often struggled to find a single intact structure to raise flags on. see for yourself.

China and Armenia should firmly support each other and deepen cooperation in all fields, Chinese President Xi Jinping told Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, CCTV said.

Despite the economic cooperation agreement signed at the end of August, relations between Moscow and Baku continue to deteriorate rapidly.

On September 8, an Azerbaijani citizen was detained in Russian Stavropol region (on the video). According to the Russian FSB, he was preparing terrorist attacks under the instructions of "Ukrainian handlers." The man was allegedly collecting components for explosive devices and conducting reconnaissance of the sites in Yessentuki and Stavropol, including buildings of law enforcement agencies.

Despite its absurdity, this case fits into the context of the Kremlin's ongoing policy aimed at putting pressure on Baku. Earlier, leaders of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Russia were arrested, propagandists issued threats about a new "special operation," and attacks occurred on facilities of the Azerbaijani state oil and gas company SOCAR in Odesa region.

Azerbaijan Nora B-52, on Tatra truck chassis. Seems that rumors of Germans refusing sale of MAN truck chassis for Azerbaijan were true.

To avoid impression that Azeris are the only state-supported criminal group operating in RF:

"Boris Avakian, a 43-year-old Armenian citizen who is charged with three counts of customs evasion, escaped from the building of the Kronshtadt District Court in St. Petersburg.

Avakian was taken to court under the escort of the military police. While in the courthouse, he asked the escorts for permission to go out for a smoke. After that, he found himself on the street and quickly disappeared, getting into a car.

So he managed to get to the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia on Bolshoy Prospekt Vasilyevsky Island and is now hiding there."https://t.me/SergeyKolyasnikov/72521 )

This time AM officials decided to tie up loose ends Khashoggi-style, without AZ-style public complains abiut RF legal system:

"Boris Avakian, an Armenian citizen who escaped from the courthouse in St. Petersburg yesterday, was found dead in the building of the Armenian Consulate, where he was hiding. Avakyan is one of the defendants in the case of tax evasion in the amount of more than 4.2 billion rubles.

He helped someone from native Armenia steal 4.2 billion rubles of Russian taxes and thought that he would be caressed and covered up. Well, they covered him with bodybag.

An Armenian citizen was killed in the Armenian consulate. Strongly. If he had stayed in Russia, he would have lived more."
