Lmao. Half of the list are military commanders. Proving again that they are hurt about Azerbaijan restoring territorial integrity and justice. Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine has the right to territorial integrity, but not Azerbaijan, apparently.

I don’t think this will pass, but still.

I dfo not think it is related with "right" in any way - more likely, just a step to please ethnic Armenian voters (while it is hardly any AZ lobby in USA as far as i know).

Meanwhile:

“The CSTO Secretary-General, addressing the withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers from Garabagh, emphasized that Garabagh is Azerbaijani territory and Azerbaijan has its forces to ensure security on its territory.”

France btw recently recalled its ambassador to Azerbaijan, citing “unilateral actions by Azerbaijan damaging relations”.

The same France that tried to introduce UN resolution against Azerbaijan several times last year. “Unilateral actions”.

Khojaly, the town where Armenians massacred more than 600 civilians. The single worst massacre of Karabakh conflict. The side that commited that massacre (and many more) is now presented as the victims of the conflict in West.

The headquarters and main base of Russian peacekeepers was also located here. Now fully under Azerbaijan’s sovereignty following the withdrawal of Russian PK contingent.

In any case, you should agree that they are not THE victims of the conflict.

Also note that surviving non-Azeri people living in Baku (Sveta Pashaeva is probably ethnic Russian married to Armenian from Baku) were helping to this refugees.  This story is not so simple - it was shock to ethnic Armenians living in Baku (in significant numbers) when anger of Azeris, both locals and newcommers from remote vilages, turned on them and they were massacred for the events they were not involved in.

Of course not. The conflict is a repeat of other conflicts where both sides attack the other to get revenge for violent acts committed by 3rd and 4rth parties.

Alleged order for 70 DITA 155mm howitzers by Azerbaijan.

This would be in addition to 48 Nora B52 Azerbaijan has ordered from Serbia.

DITA is shorter ranged but has better RoF, so possibly different niche. But still weird.

DITA is also fully automatic with only 2 crew members.

“Defense Minister Robert Kaliňák (Smer) also signed a memorandum on the arms industry during his visit. "To have the opportunity to develop our arms industry in cooperation with Azerbaijan. It is also a direct contract for ordering materials and it is a great opportunity for the economic growth of Slovakia," he explained.

According to him, it is premature to talk about specific orders, but it was possible to define areas of cooperation. "They are interested in building a technological base that will move Azerbaijan among the countries that have heavy industry. We have many years of experience in this and we have a chance to help them build it," he clarified. It should be about the production of ammunition, land equipment or howitzers.”
