Yeah, I meant to post that, thanks for doing so.

Incidentally, was one of those they shot at a T90A?

Didn’t see any T-90. Which one specifically?

I have interviewed a journalist who covered the conflict in the field, and asked him about the use of drones, artillery, roles of Russia/Turkey... link can be read in English with google translate.

He thinks that UAVs are overrated, videos are very visual but achievement were less, especially in northern and central fronts. He also points out that the collapse of N-K lines was caused by Armenia failing to send proper reinforcements. Volunteers were sent without proper support or heavy weapons.

Interesting read.  Are there any basic statistics out about the war yet?

Thanks. Not really, but Azerbaijan stated that its Air Force carried out 600 sorties during the war (44 days). It is a considerable number if you take into account that the weather was bad during many days.

Azerbaijan MOD published 10 minute footage of artillery, ATGM (Spike) and tactical missiles from the Second Karabakh War.

You can see many of the artillery systems in this video.

Msta-S, Dana M1M, RM-70M, LAR-160, Smerch and various tactical missile systems (EXTRA, Kaplan, Polonez, LORA).

All with modern fire control systems that worked together with the large UAV fleet.

To say that the war was solely decided by Bayraktar TB2 would be wrong.

What you would say was the biggest AFV killer?

-Other AFV

-Missile from drones and suicide drones

-AT teams

-Long range AT  (>10km Spike NLOS like)

-Artillery

-Minefields

Knowledge of AFV coordinates, from drones.

Once you know where they are you can direct your forces effectively, whether that's artillery, air assets, or loitering munitions.

I had assumed Islanders were unitary warheads; what type of submunitions are those?

Cluster. And it's definitely Iskander.

The real question is where they were found – for example in this article https://e-news.su/in-world/376085-kak-oblomki-rossijskih-iskanderov-okazalis-v-karabahe.html   one of the opinions is they were in fact brought from Idlib (where Iskander missiles were officially used against pro-Turkish islamists)  - and this explain their magic discovery long after conflict ends, as they “melted from snow in Shusha”

Commander of Border Guards:

"During the counterattack attempt of the Armenian armed forces in the direction of Horadiz village (in the first days of the war), HAROPs (operated by Border Guards) destroyed 14 enemy tanks in 2 hours. The enemy left another 10-12 tanks on the battlefield and fled".

Interesting that Harops are operated by Border Guards usually seen in West as lesser troops. What is their organization level in Azerbaijan army?
