Yeah, they are misleading again. We only have 6 destroyers due to Cameron cutting two, so its mainly the Frigates, which were built in the early 90's and are increasingly life expired. One was retired with a rotten keel for example. Not much you can do about that, you cant exactly glue it back on.

What they ARENT telling you, is we are building more warships than we have in 30 years, and we have expanded the yard on the clyde to crank out Type 26's and Type 31's. In short, its hit the lowest point and its going to improve from here, but its going to take time. It took 14 years to wreck the Royal Navy, its going to take at least that long to put it rihgt.

They have been in power 5 months. You dont turn back the failings of decades in months.

As it is, Thames Water hovers on the edge of bankruptcy, and they really dont want to have to pick that up, because it will mean rectifying the neglect of 40 plus years of private investors ripping money out of it, and not nearly enough investment to prepare for the future. Well the future is here. You dont fix that overnight.
