Oh no, the thread fell to page 2!

Wholly predictable, in that they keep reviving failed policies and politicians in yesteryear, lacking the imagination of creating or acquiring policies or people any better.

Interesting story, Bojo did a trip to venezuela the other day, ostensibly on the back of David Cameron sending him. You may speculate why.

Because a quick search of what happened, reveals that is a highly selective portrayal of what happened. Hamoud Al Soaimi was only 15 at the time, and the girl told them all she was 15 at the time.  Which under the circumstances would make it difficult to give him custodial time.

Yes, I say all, because it was a criminal gang, and very strong sentences were handed down to ones that had either reached their majority, or were closer to it when they committed the offences.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-68446855

The men, the first three of whom must sign the sexual offenders' register for life and Al Soaimi for 10 years, received the following sentences:

  • Omar Badreddin, 26, for five counts of rape, jailed for 18 years
  • Mohamed Badreddin, 23, for six counts of rape and one count of assault by penetration, jailed for 13 years
  • Huzaefa Aleboud, 23, for assault by penetration, two counts of rape and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, jailed for five and a half years
  • Hamoud Al Soaimi, 21, for three counts of sexual assault and one assault by penetration, jailed for two years suspended for two years with 180 hours unpaid work

The Badreddin brothers' sentences also included a year in jail each for violent disorder after they threw bottles and charged at police when a Black Lives Matter group clashed with North East Frontline Patriots in Newcastle city centre on 13 June 2020.

No, im not personally perceiving that as being let off easily.

Still doesn't explain why using the (supposed) freedom of speech/expression gets a harsher sentence than a rapist, juvenile or not.

How did the land of Churchill, Newton, and English Common Law, get to this point?  I can only believe Socialism.

The conservatives (right wing) have been in power since 2010.

Do you want me to research those too, because in light of how they misrepresented the third, I feel sure they are preverts or UKIP voters, or both.

After Brexit, the Tory party evicted almost all the pro-european Tory members leaving just the anti-euro MP's. This has resulted in a very right wing Tory party.

Your knowledge of the UK is as usual, breathtaking.

Which  IS NOT a reason to stifle someone's freedoms.  Stuart, you are what you are complaining about.  A dictator (wannabe).
