Today I learned that we use Zortrax's 3D printers to create some parts for MiG-29s and Su-22s. Nice.

With how much miniatures for games like Warhammer cost, I imagine it would probably end up being cost effective for a avid gamer to invest in a 3D printer. Companies like Games Workshop, have to be scrambling trying to figure out how to keep money from the hobbyist gamer money tree flowing in the coming future.

People are going to kill own hobby, then they will whine about it.

Related to that, I had countless questions about props I make "Why not 3D print them". Cause that starts to look like a work, not hobby and I don't want Chinese copies, I want unique pieces.
