Not sure about Russia as the destination, but more than a few of my friends are talking about getting out of Canada soon, for at least 6 months a year.  The general sense is Canada -> Hell -> Handbasket.

Well, at least partly: it is based on entire original hull that was once converted into shelter/pillbox in Karelia

Last year in May a Slovak guy genuinely wanted to emigrate to Russia. However as it was real case and not propaganda with paid actors the russian authorities could not believe that his desire is pure and immediately put him in prison once he reached Russia. There he spent two monts after which he was released and returned to Slovakia. He lost all faith and becomed quite depressed. Also he said how he was horrified by barbarity of russian prison.
