Some Foodie Youtube Channels

Recommended Posts

I thought it might be useful to have a thread to tabulate Youtube cooking channels. While there are thousands if not millions of cooking channels, all too many seem to boil down to "heat the canned chili then serve" or "you MUST use Mongolian ghost chard seeds harvested in late winter" sort of thing.

Generally I want to learn how to make American "comfort foods". While the stereotype for that is heavy, fatty, carb-laden Sunday dinner fare, for me comfort food tends to be both simple and tasty. That can include anything from turkey breast to fajitas (which I currently have a gutfull of, since it is raining today).

Here's a channel I stumbled onto today; https://www.youtube.com/user/tdjtx/videos

Lots of grilling, lots of dead animals.

Good finds. From Carolyn's channel, I want to try this. Generally I'm not a big fan of grits, but going all Louisiana on their little grit asses seems like a great idea.
