Most of the USAian posters on this forum don't know what A Canada is, but even if the rhetoric is Trump just jerking off, it's so fucking offensive. (I'm full USAian, spent a lot of time in Canada and love it). If the shit literally goes down, I will seriously join the Canadian resistance.

Sorry.

Do Canadians know what A Canada is? Because the Rhetoric from those like Trudeau has been that white people have no culture and Canada has No Core Culture. Canada is Post National, again according to Trudeau.  So to look at that view, then the only Canada is the 1st Nations peoples, aka Canada's Native Americans.

Canada is going to resist with WHAT? Guns are being banned. The Military is a shadow of a shadow.

The extant threat to Canada is NOT Trump. The extant and long time threat to Canada is Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.

Here's some points on this from A Canadian.

Note the big core thing from many Liberals in Canada was that Canada was not the US. That's hardly an identity.

Generally it is a sign that someone is running on empty ideologically if their main message becomes how they are not like those terrible guys (or that bad man) over there.

See also, Democratic Party (US)

Why is any of this YOUR problem?

This is their problem, not yours. Go and fix your own problems, before you take it on yourself that you are the solution to anyone elses.

Why is it your problem? The US shares a contiguous border.

Does the UK share a border with Ukraine? You’re all hot and lathered up about that.

I dunno, could it possibly be that we share the same history and the same Monarch? Could it possibly be that they were the only North Americans that supported us all the way through WW1 and WW2 and we feel grateful?

For someone of evident intelligence Ryan, you really do go all round the houses to not find answers for fairly obvious questions.

If Canada is left to be a place of liberal thought, it will always be a threat to the USA. And the drug trafficking will also not stop. The USA needs to take control of Canada.

America will always have a thorn in its side, vile leftist turncoats, poised to put the dagger in, even if it assimilates Canada and crushes Trudeauism.

Its called California.

California and all of the US will have to be cleansed from liberals and communists.

As a Dutchman, I would like to thank Canada for its service and sacrifices in liberating the Netherlands at the end of World War II. It's great to see the fondness, friendship, and respect the two peoples still show to each other, particularly now as we are celebrating the 80th year of this liberation. Towns and cities are flying Canadian and Dutch flags, holding ceremonies, parades, and commemorates at this time. All over the Netherlands, there are monuments, statues, and plaques celebrating the Canadians, and what they have done for us. Cemeteries honoring the Canadian fallen are particularly well kept in Holland. And we send millions of orange tulips every year as a token to Canada from the Netherlands as thanks for Canadian actions for us during World War II, as well as hosting our very dear royal family.

Thank you Canada and the Canadians.

Last laugh will be on you, we would make the left wing the majority in the country and the GOP will never get elected again, slowly we will absorb you, improve education and have all your children saying "Eh" and craving Maple Syrup. Resistance is futile.

We'd fix your liberals with a liberal application of duct tape. Then ship em to the UK.

Naah. They'll self deport to where they think it's more liberal. They don't want hardship. So, more for London, I'm sure. Free health care there too!

No you wouldn’t.  You would be a territory, at first, with no political participation if the US is forced to invade.  If provinces join voluntarily I don’t think we would accept the liberal ones.

Our conservatives are pretty much your centre Democrats. Absorbing Canada is going to suck for anyone right of centre. Not to mention you are now responsible for a vast infrastructure network and hundreds of more Indigenous groups.
