The better establishments I have been to, throw these guys into the dish

Canadian snow birds have made an impression on restaurant help in one desert resort.

They have a joke.

What's the difference between a Canadian and a kayak?

A kayak has been known to tip.

So in order to delay the F-35 purchase till after the next election, the Liberals propose to buy 18 Super Hornets and then run a "fair" competition where they will pick any fighter but the F-35, except they also promised to let the F-35 into the running.

Who says Canadians are nice and don't do torture.

Police in Kensington, P.E.I., are threatening drunk drivers with a new form of punishment: being trapped in a cruiser playing a 15-year-old Nickelback album.

Somebody call Amnesty International! Human Rights Watch! The UNSC!

I saw my cousin do that a few times...

Cut himself a switch, or open an unopened Nickelback CD?

The former. Though, he may have been into the latter. He was also a profligate boom car aficionado back in the 90s.

I never understood why it was so hip to hate specifically on Nickleback. What makes them worse than every other lame rock band out there?

His voice, it's like fingers down the chalkboard for me.

They aren't edgy, sarcastic, overly groomed/styled. And lets face it, they're Canadian. If they had gelled/spiked hair, wore lots of eyeliner, and had East End accents, they'd be totally sick.

Keep in mind that the same kids* are ga-ga over Gaga, think Coldplay is cool, etc.

* And by "kids" I mean the 20-somethings and 30-somethings who never evolved past their mid-teens emotionally or intellectually.

In what is surely the most Canadian thing to ever happen, an Alberta man drove his Zamboni home from work earlier this week and stopped into Tim Hortons for a little pick-me-up for the drive.
