Sex is the biological part defined by chromasomes and genetalia and most people are either male or female with a few being intersex.  Gender is identity and while the vast majority of poeple identify their biological sex as their gender, others do not.  Hence the people who identify as trans or non-binary.

You can say trans etc. shouldn't be so, that there are  issues that need to be addressed, like washrooms and athletics, that it's a moral failing or a mental illness, and those are opinions that can be defended or attacked, but saying there's no such thing just flies in the face of reality.

Not instigating that sort of discussion. :)

I am fine with people being whatever sexuality they think they are.

On an individual level, I agree.

Society bending in all ways to accommodate every perceived handicap? No.

What's happening in Women Sports is a travesty. Other examples have been given.

It is travesty when it's no longer equality (in sports especially).

But then, I once lost arm-wrestling match to a woman.... (Yea, she was a woman born as woman and damn she was strong!) :D

The top women athletes would be mediocre were they men, but still faster, stronger, and more skilled than the great majority of men.

Depends on the sport.  Actual American varsity high school teams are a strong match for the world class women's teams in several sports, like soccer.  In some sports, like shooting, they're competitive; in some forms of drag racing, they're an advantage, because of lower weight.  S/F....Ken M

The WNBA champs one year had an exhibition game against some random boy's high school team, and got beat.

Every time the women start complaining about making a fraction of what NBA players make, that story is brought up and that tamps down the complaints about wages.

It all boils down to two points most people would want pay equality for woman athletes, but most people wouldn't watch woman's sport, beach volleyball is an exception.

When womens sports earn as much money as mens, they can and should be paid the same.   Until then, they should be paid commesurate with what they bring in.

Some one I know claimed that Canada pretended to care about it's people...

Purely coincidental that the listed demographic groups are groups that cost the government more than average.

Yes it will be an interesting case, right up there with burning a barn which the RCMP had done many years ago.

Haven't heard about that. They burned the barn to save it?

Can't blame them too much. In the US, the BP murdered something like 50 LEOs. Most ambushed and shot in the back while responding to a service call.

A little point the sh/t heads in the US Media fail to point out. Instead they cast the BPs and their leadership cadre as a 'civil rights movement'==Kinda like how Jackson and Sharpton are 'reverends'.
