rmgill
Occupy wall street was across the US in many cities. The Canadians were more organized and orderly than OWS was and I don't recall any bank accounts being frozen.

BansheeOne
With the Netherlands backing out of the suggestion to buy and donate the 18 A6M they have leased from Germany for service in the joint Dutch-German tank battalion, Canada and Finland (and Greece, but they are unlikely to give up any and have not been mentioned) are the remaining sources for A6 to get to an ex-Soviet battalion set of 31 from the 14 announced by Germany and four from Portugal. The Canadian inventory runs to 20 each A6M and A4M plus 42 A4 mostly used for training. I would be surprised if they sent 14 of their meagre A6M fleet; on Thursday defense minister Anita Anand stated four A4.

bojan
Around here it is forbidden to even consume any game meat w/o veterinarian certificate (ofc, peole do, because... people). Part of it has root in the anti-poaching laws, as you can not bring boar or deer out of season to be checked w/o some questions. But it is a good practice in preventing some pretty nasty diseases from spreading around. Relative used to go hunting regularly, practically almost every weekend, mostly rabbits (which were always in season since they are a pest in his area), and boars and birds in season. He would bring them to a veterinarian, have them checked, if those were OK for consummation he would butcher them, fill the freezer, if freezer was full he would either sell meat (quite under ongoing price) to the relatives or bring it to the farmer's market. All perfectly legal and really no less safe than any other meat. Edited January 31, 2023 by bojan

And if the critter seems to be stumbling or ill, you don't eat it either. Elaphostrongylus rangiferi is a concern in some parts of North America. Harold Jones
The boars would probably make good sausage, but it would be a lot.
bojan
Boar mixed with venison or beef ~50/50 is great for sausages. 8 hours ago, rmgill said: ...but the boars are too musky. That is why goulash was invented. Right amount of onion, paprika and garlic will sort it out. Edited January 31, 2023 by bojan
