Veterans Affairs did apologise and stated the offending official will be sent for retraining. Of course this is the same org that sends a form to a Vet every year asking if his leg has grown back yet, in the hopes they can deny benefits. Most due to incompetence rather than policy.

Currently they overstepped and even the Socialist NDP is pulling their support of the bill. This one woke up the Fudds who suddenly realized that the rest of us were not lying when we said they come for your guns next. The Bill also likley infringes on First Nation Treaty rights. My guess they will backpedal for awhile and comeback with another attempt, but it does upset their messaging and timetable and JT is past his best before date. the next election is for the Conservatives to lose.

I am really sorry to hear about your cousin kid. I went through some similar crap when I was that age.

 Up here in Canada we have the same problem as you have down there - the rapid disintegration of our governments' ability to do its job.  Democracy boiled down to its basic active ingredient is inaction.   Everything now is commissions, sanctions, pay raises and grief councilors.   Meanwhile, my cousin's kid doesn't even go into the school bathroom anymore because it's been taken over by violent thugs that don't even go to the school and no one in the school system does anything about it.

My buddy is RCMP and was a School Resource Officer in Surrey. They had 5 officers for 33 schools and that was better than Vancouver, who barred the VPD from schools as it might "trigger" some twit. So now the gangs have free roaming of the schools and the administration is afraid to counter it as they be called "racist". The Progressives are slowly slitting their own throats along with everyone else. A lot of people are moving kids out of the public school system for either private or home school. Immigrants are particularly disgusted with our schools lack of will to impose any discipline or meaningful academic standards. My wife works at a private school, 3 strikes and then your expelled. You can bet the students listen to the teachers. Also the public schools are not producing worthy students for university and large number fail first year as they have no abilty to perform at that level. Not helped that all of the technical education departments have been either shut down or turned into a hands on Arts and Craft course. "Metalwork" for my daughter was making jewellery by bending wire and barely any machine tool use. So we have students that can't work with their hands and can't maintain academic standards. They are screwed.

Hearing other general accounts of decay in the system.  Mom was talking to a woman last week who has a daughter that works in Brampton and is considering quitting because her grade 1 students have become so unruly that they mouth off and have become confrontational and aggressive.

No, I mean the person speaking in the video.  She may mean the person who set forth legislation to ban the "Butt Master"  if that's Trudeau.   He's an idiot, but that doesn't mean it was wrong to stop the continuing occupation of downtown Ottawa orthat it was somehow PRC levels of oppression.

The EA and freezing peoples bank accounts tells me that if JT ran a country with Chinese laws , he would be quite quick to go with PRC levels of oppression. Pretty clear it's only our laws that stop him and his cronies.

Please, do you really think any government wouldn't have done those things or something similar given the situation?  I didn't hear Doug Ford complaining.
