Heh. I wish. My Grandfather was a Snap-On salesman when I was a kid. He started his own business and apparently had a big set of the snap on tools. Sadly my cousin got ahold of them and turned them into $$ for his various habits.  😕

I do have the old craftsman stuff that was my other Grandfather's tools. I wish I had his shop tools but he passed and the family broke up his shop before I was out of highschool so I had no place for any of his tools save for some random hand tools.   I'd love to have his old 24" Lathe.

Picked up a huge Smithfield salt-cured ham ages ago for the parents. Dear old Mom forgot you had to soak the thing for quite a awhile before frying. Now I know how quickly salt can absorb saliva.

I understand those old Snap-On tools were very well made. Pity. But same could be said of Craftsman's, I think.

There are interesting, newly invented modern tools, like Knippex wrench pliers, power ratchets, Miniware portable soldering irons, or those Fein multitools.

NORAD commander warns Canadian officials about the threat posed by hypersonic missiles | CBC News

NORAD chief warns clueless Canadian politicians that Canada is defenseless against modern missile threats.

I read that, and thought to how brazen and lecturing our leaders can be on the political stage.  But I thought, if we are that weak, then maybe instead of being so loud we should be a bit more syrup titious in our global approach?

War is waged by human beings, and human beings are tool users. 😎

The "Wet Coast" has been living up to it's name. Vancouver has been cut off by road and rail from the rest of Canada for pretty much all of the last two weeks, still a lot of rain coming.

This is the road I take to one of my gun clubs, the club also got completely flooded.

The second picture Colin posted is Highway 1 where it passes through the Sumas Prairie. It is the major east-west route out of Vancouver to the interior of BC and the rest of Canada.

No doubt! College classes with him would be a riot, until the Woke Police awakens for real.

NORAD is clearly maintaining the fiction that Canada doesn't have hundreds of Bomarcs y'all can ripple-fire out of the CN Tower.

We would keep them this long and then try to upgrade to 1990's standards in 2025, while debating a replacement.
