That it exists only because Maxime Bernier is a sore loser.  That he couldn't even keep his seat which stayed Conservative. That many, if not most, of his candidates are looney-tunes.  That if they actually were contenders they'd just end up taking votes from the Conservative Party and help re-elect Trudeau and the Liberals.

I'm not wasting my time on some loser's campaign ad or throwing away my vote on a party with miniscule public support. Fortunately, they're more likely to cannibalize votes from other fringe parties than take enough Conservative Party votes to cause them to lose seats and re elect Trudeau.

I was reading on a twitter thread (which I obviously take with a pinch of salt) that a Conservative Canadian Government is in favour of closer economic ties with the UK, Australia and New Zealand, of the zero tarrif kind. Is there any truth in that? Ive seen a few websites dedicated to CANZUK getting dangerously overexcited.

I don't know.  It isn't an election issue, though.  Most people don't care that much about CANZUK ties.  The overexcited folks on the internet are probably nearly all of thee people who do.

They say its increasing demand, really they intend to drop it on Ukraine in the event of a Third World War. No way is 1st Guards Tank Army going to make it thorugh 22000 tons of maple syrup without coming to a sticky end.

The syrup reserve is only to be released in case the global economy is about to pancake.
