I'm looking to buy or trade. I have a selection of tank, airplane and ship kits to offer, if anyone has and is willing to part with:

a WC 54 ambulance kit in 1/35 scale. Italieri made a kit, but there might be others. For that matter, any military ambulance in 1/35 would be worthy of consideration.

and/or 1/35 scale WWI tanks, from the old Emhar kits of the Brit lozenge-shaped tanks to the FT-17 and/or anything in between.

Let me know if any of you might be willing to wheel and/or deal.

Hmm, Michael, you know that I went crazy buying kits a while ago............., PM me your current address and the Italeri WC54 will be on its way. It has been on my shelf for at least 12 years and I am glad to send it your way. (I don't keep personal details of others on my computer 'just in case')

It is not a great kit and you may want to kitbash with an AFVClub 3/4 ton kit for better detail.

Other military ambulances? Italeri did an ambulance Jeep (I thought that I had, just looked, could not see it, but it may still be there for the finding. I have the old Tamiya 1/35 Ambulance Landrover with stretcher bearers, and an extra set of stretcher bearers, that I will send your way. Unfortunately I have used the ambulance decals to create a 1/35 M113 ambulance, but you may be able to get around that.

WW1 tanks - alas and alak - I cannae help you with those, as I have been keeping my eyes open for those as well. I have a built MkIV and a Whippet, perfect to oppose an old A7V that I have from some Italian company that I cannot remember but whose tracks were very forgetable.

All the best

You don't happen to have a 1/35 M60A2 kit hiding there, yes?

Sorry, I gave my last one of those away 6 years or more ago....

Oops. Sorry. My question was directed to Mike hehehe as he said he had selection of tank stuff. :)

I have the old Revelogram MASH tent with accessories as well (not the jeep or Bell 47 though) including Radar's teddy bear....

No M60A2, sorry. If I had one, you could have it. I'll take a look on Ebay, since Tamiya did a kit of it long ago.

Doug, I feel like I owe you a kidney ( or any other transplantable organ you may wish ) for all the stuff you've given me over the years. Still, I won't pretend that I wouldn't like the ambulances, so my current address is:

4812 Liberty Road S., Apt 19

Salem, OR 97306

I spent the first two years of my disability building the veritable air force of WW1 planes that you sent. They were much appreciated, as have been the other items that you have passed along over the years. I actually built the Tauro A7V kit when it came out, and to date it is the only single-link track set that has worked for me. I'm about to take a stab at their Fiat 3000 kit, which I found in storage after writing the opening post of this thread.

Thanks in advance, my friend.

I found the ambulance Jeep as well. The two stretcher cases that you will be getting with the Land Rover, whilst in British uniform, should be useful as casualties for the other kits.

The decals are somewhat old, you may have to work on that.

There are at least two other figure sets with casualties on litters or being treated, The Italeri USMC and 'Allied Support troops'. I don't think that I can help you with those.

I will send the kits this afternoon.

I believe I have one of those in my stash, as well.

I inherited one from my older brother when he passed away several years ago. Never got around to building it.

Everything in the stash will get built (hopefully)starting in a couple years when I retire (God willing!)

I have seen some really nice builds of that Tauro kit at model shows over the years. At least one with a complete and quite intricate interior.

I bought my brother a reference book on the A7V at an AMPS convention many years ago, when he picked up the Tauro kit. We never found it when we went through his stuff after he died. Quite a few of his tools and his computers "disappeared" ...I think his BIL cleaned out(stole) whatever he thought he could make a buck on. My brother's widow pretended not to know anything, but a workshop full of tools including a mini-lathe don't just vanish into thin air.

There is a new A7V with detailed interior.

Hi...

Thanks for the heads up on that.

Guess I just missed that announcement.I may have to look into adding it to the stash...What's one more kit when there are already about 60-70 stacked up in the hobby room?

And we know about the Tamiya British Mk IV

The Emhar kits are still available from Hannants, but pricey, particularly taking shipping into account.

Was at a hobby shop awhile ago. It has been YEARS since I went there. Saw a lot of WW1 kits, I forgot the brand. I think it was Meng or Tauro or Emhar. Very pricey.

I was there to peruse the RC stuff (motors, batteries, rechargers) and when looking at the models, I said "Wow. And I used to spend thousands of pesos on those things." *shudder* (and yes shudder did I).

I left with a Tamiya mini 4WD motor. :)
