There's a classic argument between the activists and the actual thinkers when it comes to fields such as physics. Yes, American women have like 1 or 2 points higher mean IQ score, so the activists claim misogyny. How else can the lack of female physicists be explained?

However, when you get out to IQ scores of 140 and up, where physicists live, the M/F ratio is quite something. 

Overall, its always a good idea to remind ourselves of the quotation from Thomas Edison;

“Genius is one percent inspiration, ninety-nine percent perspiration.”

I wonder if the stressors of centuries of persecution and pograms has weeded out the genes of many of the lower IQ genes of the jewish population.

If you look at the US there will always be a distorted result, as different ethnics came to the US under different circumstances. 

The white population and the Hispanics are probably representative averages of the distribution, with only a slight notch towards lower skilled persons with the Hispanics.  

Asians that migrated to the US were often valuable contributors to their original society. 

Africans however were selected for physical strength and the local tribes did also not sell their best brightest.

males are over-represented at the high and low ranges while females are as a whole much more represented in the middle range

together it all averages out

 

even as the females have rigged the game and overtake the males in higher education the males are still over represented in patent prosecution or starting the next tesla or something of this kind

but also fail more often

 

 

the male is nature's experiment- the bigger risk takers

males are also the disposable gender which is why you see them over-represented in occupational injuries and fatalities homeless rates and even in congenital birth defects while the females scream for equality

 

in the evolution of the species it is not a successful survival trait for the females to risk pregnancy and find ways to innovate or take risks or explore the environment

 

rather it the females benefit by protection from group dynamics and consuming the fruits of the labor of others rather than go out and doing the hunting and fending off threats or go out and find new resources or territory

it does not work both ways since pregnancy essentially takes the woman out of any chance of doing those things at the same time

 

once societies reach a certain technological threshold- machines performing difficult labor or tasks, cheap and abundant resources, protection from the group or from the welfare state and advances in birth control and family planning then you start seeing many of the females begin to think they are in the superior position and do not need men 

 

ironically the men which are competing to solve the world's problems and make life easier are themselves setting this up 

 

even in the arts and entertainment the innovators were males and the females were the lagging indicator and tended to copy what the males were doing rather than themselves innovating new styles

they are already valued without having to do any of that

 

what tends to happen whether  men are left or right is the tendency of the male need to worship women

There is not much difference in brilliance, there is only a difference in the fields they work in and how the success is shown.

Margarita Salas Falgueras, Ann Nardulli and others were also very brilliant in their fields.

One should always take crime stats and infographics thereof with a Freightliner-sized grain of salt. Total homicides vs murders/manslaughters vs suicides, etc. And there are certainly metro areas that classify less than 3 bullets to the chest as "natural causes."
