They don't seem to be worried, which means that the riots are happening on the other side of the city - but I have not seen where they are happening.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A Michigan woman has been sentenced to three to seven years in prison for opening fire at a McDonald's restaurant after workers twice failed to put bacon on her burgers.

Authorities say 30-year-old Shaneka Torres became angry in February 2014 when the first burger she ordered at the restaurant's drive-up station was missing bacon. She was offered a free meal, but bacon also wasn't added to a second burger order.

Police say she fired a shot through the restaurant. No one was injured.

Report of 4 (or more??) major fires in Baltimore, the latest at Federal & Gay St. NE. Earlier reports had stuff at Eutaw & McMechen NW, so they've managed to sweep clockwise through 180 or more degrees. My SIL and her husband can smell the fires and see the smoke. I've advised them to GTFO before they get bottled in. They aren't going anywhere.

The Baltimore PD has its problems and bad cops but I was amazed by their self-control yesterday. If I had a gun & a night stick and low-lifes were hurling bricks at me I would've let them have it. The "thin blue line" cliches sound a bit less cheesy this morning.

I find it fascinating to see almost complete homogenized color blocks (clusters of Red dots in a tight cluster next to clusters of Orange dots, next to clusters of Green dots, etc.) indicating some sort of segregation has occurred (either self imposed or otherwise). There are, naturally, areas where all colors mix (I see lots of this in Northern VA - but I am sure it goes on elsewhere too), but those seem to not be the general rule.
