Murph Posted December 10, 2018 Author Posted December 10, 2018 The bottle SUCKS! The hexagonal shape makes for dribbles.
Murph Posted December 10, 2018 Author Posted December 10, 2018 A very small ice cube. Just got a bottle of Sexton Single Malt Irish Whisky, and it is pretty decent. A single ice cube opens it up very nicely. Heathen! No ice cubes to whiskey!
Murph Posted February 17, 2020 Author Posted February 17, 2020 My current all time favorite is Jameson’s cask mates stout edition. Just so nice, had a wee dram tonight.
EchoFiveMike Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Hooten and Young American Whiskey, by some of the Men who were in the Blackhawk Down fight. It's good booze, buy some. S/F....Ken M https://wineonlinedelivery.com/product/hooten-and-young-american-whiskey-12-year-750ml/
Simon Tan Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Can't get much bourbon out here. Just lots of smokey, peaty rubbish,
Rickard N Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Just got a bottle of Sexton Single Malt Irish Whisky, and it is pretty decent. A single ice cube opens it up very nicely. Heathen! No ice cubes to whiskey! Bit of necro but still. I was at Glenkinchie destillery a few years ago (SERIOUSLY HAS IT BEEN 22 YEARS??!!!) and asked what they thought about adding water or whatever to the whisky. The answer was (in quite distinguished Scottish in Edinburgh) We have too rools. One, don't water anoder maans drink and don't steeel anoder maans weejf. Two, drink it with waaater, withooot waater or AS waater On topic, I find many irish whiskeys to be rather mild and good for starting with. One exception, Power, don't try it. BTW, in whiskey you can have ice /R
Murph Posted May 25, 2020 Author Posted May 25, 2020 I'm pretty hammered on extra Anejo tequila right now. It is really good stuff. Drinking it like scotch.
