Garry Redmon
Armor for the Ages has been updated with a new article in the Military Vehicles section. This article pertains to the German SdKfz 234/4 armored car and presents detailed photos and text. Most importantly, the unit this vehicle was assigned to during World War II has never been officially known until now. Recently acquired photographic evidence proves that the 234/4 was once part of Panzerkorps Feldherrnhalle and was surrendered to U.S. forces in southern Czechoslovakia in 1945. Direct link to the Armor for the Ages home page.http://armorfortheages.com/ Please access the 234/4 section under the Military Vehicles tab on the home page. Nikolas93TS
Garry, the SdKfz 234/4 link you posted is giving me Error 404, at the moment. Anybody else experiencing the issue? EDIT: article is online when accessing it from home page, must be link incorrectly copied.
Garry Redmon
That's strange. I can't find anything wrong/misspelled. It wouldn't let me copy and paste the link so I had to type it in. Please access the 234/4 section through the main page under the Military Vehicles tab.

Mikel2
Good stuff! Love reading about the vehicles' post-capture history. By the way, the article says that the tank was made a runner while in Germany. Is it still in that condition or has it become a victim of the current environmental regulations? Thank you. Garry Redmon
As far as I know it is still capable. I don't know what conditions it was subjected to while at Wheatcroft's site, but it has been under cover since it arrived at Fort Benning. We will probably never know since operating historic vehicles under CMH control is prohibited.
