R/c Tanks - Any Recommends?

Somebody did one based on the Tamiya M4 HVSS model. Pretty good actually.

Maybe we should forget RC tanks and look at the RC scale aircraft on the market:

This thing has a 60cc engine for goodness sake - back in the day Honda step through motorcycles had engines of around the same displacement.

Friend of mind built a model Conqueror and put a petrol strimmer motor in it. Worked perfectly, but they tended to give him grief whenever he showed it off at model shows and it kicked out blue smoke. Some people have no sense of humour.

Here is something that Ive only just noticed, someone makes a model of the Ural Truck with a Coms body on it.

 

There is also a conversion kit to get lower gears, and to fit a tanker or cargo body on it.
