T-44
Orions (not too surprising probably) seem to be the usual 'victims':https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBYkoyFxMEQ
urbanoid
There was an Orion that nearly had a Middair with an Mig31 pushing the envelope back in 2012, so yes. If we handled interceptions of their aircraft like they do, they would shit a brick. Maybe we should.

shep854
Not Rus, but there was also the Hainan Island Incident, between an EP-3 and CHICOM J-8...could the EP-3 get a kill mark?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hainan_Island_incident
JasonJ
On November 27th, Japanese fighters scrambled to meet a flight of 11 Chinese aircraft flying near and some passing through the Okinawan islands although they did not violate Japanese airspace. However it was unusual because of the number of aircraft involved. 8 H-6 bombers, 1 Tu-154 intelligence gathering, 1 Y-8 intelligence gathering model, and 1 Y-8 early warning aircraft. http://johngaltfla.com/wordpress/2015/11/28/days-after-japan-increases-troop-levels-chinese-jets-fly-near-okinawa/ http://www.mod.go.jp/js/Press/press2015/press_pdf/p20151127_02.pdf

FlyingCanOpener
 Rus-ugly...but supremely functional.  Two-seat Flanker is a beautiful plane. Got a 1/48 Su-30 in the queue on the model bench.
DB
I thought that the tailfin top fairing was odd, having not seen one like it before. "A handful of Tu-142MK machines was built as submarine communications relay aircraft, reeling out a long trailing antenna from a rig under the belly to transmit and receive low-frequency signals that could penetrate through water. These machines, designated "Tu-142MR", a distinctive thimble nose radome in place of the nose glazing and a fairing like that of the MAD system on the tailfin, but mounted forward instead of to the rear. NATO codenamed them "Bear-J". Incidentally, NATO never assigned a "Bear-I" codename; NATO didn't use the "I" suffix because it was too easily confused with "1"."Â (http://www.airvectors.net/avbear.html) Â You can also make out the underbelly fairing.
