Just to be sure, I spent five minutes googling variations of "Germany Russia Niger embassy" in English and German, and came up with zilch. 😉 Your source? Multiple Twitter posts. I doubt you will see this in MSM until it happens.Â

BansheeOne Posted February 1 Posted February 1 BTW, with the pointer to X and by extending the search to French, I tracked that canard back to several similar-named YouTube channels pretending to be news from Togo, showing a still of Niger coup leader Tiani making an announcement while a voice from off narrated what he had allegedly said: A more genuine-looking Togo news website then took over the text verbatim, and also reported on social media reactions: https://togotimes.info/2024/01/27/niger-le-general-tiani-tacle-severement-lallemagne/ All the hallmarks of an attempt at a Russian-style disinfo campaign that didn't get the botpower to make the jump to serious media; particularly because there is no indication from actual Niger sources that it really happened. Would be one for the information warfare thread, but doesn't quite warrant the attention.

TrustMe Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Morocco has been buying Israeli equipment for decades. They have just received a Israeli SAM system the Barak MX. Still this Chinese land based anti-ship missile is cool Â
sunday Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Seems the Spanish stance is that Israel could sell weapons to whoever she wants.

The French have been robbing Niger blind for decades. Though I do wonder how much fairer the Russians are likely to be.
