h18w777 Posted August 18, 2014 Author Posted August 18, 2014 These are recent, within the last 24 hours
Arminius Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 To me it seems, that the percentage of BMD vehicles shown is ridiculously high. Same for the IS Tanks, but of course they will draw attention ;-) What´s the vehicles with the Gatlings and the slat armour? 30 mm Gatling AA? Hermann Â
bd1 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 one might say that the slogans To Kiev/Lviv on IS-3 that are moving towards east, show that the GLONASS needs still a bit work....
alejandro_ Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 one might say that the slogans To Kiev/Lviv on IS-3 that are moving towards east, show that the GLONASS needs still a bit work.... Actually the tank is moving to Kiev. It is going to the Great Patriotic War Museum in Kiev...
jmcmtank Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 That Oplot picture has been on my computer for two years btw! This one of the rebels on a BTR-82A is actually filmed in Russia;
h18w777 Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) That Oplot picture has been on my computer for two years btw!Starting off, there is no date restriction on image selection. As we move forward I begin to tighten the limits on fresh material.Another selection for today Edited August 19, 2014 by h18w777
Simon Tan Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Vlad-Mart is obviously no longer bothering with deniability with the BTR-82. I wish we could see the Vlad-Mart forecourt with the awesome 'Free Ammo' stickers.
Corinthian Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014  EVEN MOAR UKRAINE THREADS!!!!!! This one is intended to show both sides in context, with photos of equipment and personnel, transport and deployment. Please contact site staff and they can delete if this thread is a problem. I have reported myself to insure that takes place.  Hey, no worries. It was all a joke because of the current looooooooooooooong thread at the Military Current Events, and then a new thread was made on the exact same topic in the same subforum. Carry on!
Corinthian Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 To get the joke, see:Â http://www.tank-net.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=39594&page=1Â http://www.tank-net.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=39527&page=1Â and TankNet's telenovela with looooooooooooooooooong posts:Â http://www.tank-net.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=38893&page=379Â
urbanoid Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Cant we have a 'Ukraine with added tentacles' or 'Crisis in Ukraine-The Manga thread'? Just an idea mind. Â When I tried to google search 'Ukraine manga' and 'Ukraine anime' I mostly saw pics of living doll (Lukyanova) and manga drawings of Natalia-chan.Â
Corinthian Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Agreed. h18w777, pls continue posting pix. Thanks.
h18w777 Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 There was a question earlier about the WW2 tank being operational. Below is more informationhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2657083/If-good-Red-Army-Viral-video-WWII-tank-started-inspires-pro-Russian-rebels-raid-MUSEUMS-Ukraine.html More photos, including battle damage
jmcmtank Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 They should put some ERA on that IS-3 If it's the same one than it has been retired, again.
Daan Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Rebel / Russian T-72 destroyed by troops of the Ukrainian Donbass battalion in Ilovaisk area:
TonyE Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me more Ukraine threads or give me death!
Gavin-Phillips Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Well if anyone ever writes a book on the BMD-series of AFV's covering the variants and such; there's certainly no shortage of pictures of "armour in action" on here! Very impressive. Many thanks to all who took the time and effort to compile such a great selection.
