Mr King Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Sorry, I didn't mean to imply they were the same alphabet. It is just to a uncultured dumbass like myself, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean alphabets tend to all look the same, even though I know they are independent of each other. Though I have become some what better at sometimes being able to tell if something is written in Korean because of general shapes found in the alphabet, just not this time.
Marek Tucan Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 That's the only time I care about Star Wars - when they photoshop Star Wars stuff into black and white war photos. Isn't the picture actually from The Longest Day? (sans the AT-AT obviously) Ah, checked. Indeed it is
urbanoid Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 This on even got the tattoo of one of Love Live! girls, Toujou Nozomi.
JasonJ Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 I have seen a car driving on the road that looked much like this one.
mnm Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 This on even got the tattoo of one of Love Live! girls, Toujou Nozomi. So this is how low Yakuza came?
Mobius Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 While that is choreographed (the girl being held turns her head to watch the jumper). It still is very dangerous.
urbanoid Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 @Fritz I'm afraid we have to wait for Jason. @Mobius Of course it is.
JasonJ Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Love those. What is the sign to his left? It's drawn slightly incorrectly, probably intentionally giving that it's a polandball. 名誉 "Honor"
JasonJ Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 @Fritz I'm afraid we have to wait for Jason.Maybe someday you will be able to do a little?

It's like a special form of recognition for that group of people. And knowing another language is crucial for seeing more view points. Also it's never too late to start.
DesertEagle Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I have seen a car driving on the road that looked much like this one. Is that the inspiration for whatever you could call this?
sunday Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Re Urbanoid: Could not find the original thread were someone recommended the new Space Battleship Yamato 2199 series, the one aired in 2012. Just saw it and it's pretty, pretty good. It's difficult nowadays to see a ship's XO job so well treated, for instance.
Colin Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 There is some thought that the prisoners are no longer meekly going to their deaths and fighting back requiring ISIS to kill them in less than photogenic ways. Then they attempt to recreate the execution digital.
