No...that's just cruel and unusual. It speaks volumes about the Zionist mindset that you would resort to such barbarous methods.

Israel was goaded into this not by some nutbar clan but because Hamas was failing after being isolated by the Sisi government for backing their Ikhwandia buds. They needed a way to distract the Gazans or break the siege so they used the one thing they have a nearly infinite supply of, Gazans.

If Israel were a true ally of the United States, they would keep Kerry and not return him.

Flights from the US to IL are cancelled due to a rocket hitting a city near Ben-Gurion Airport.

Hopefully it'll keep Kerry away from a while... If he didn't get the message from the Egyptians by now.

How many of the 600 dead are Hamas fighters? Killing people in job lots seems to be the in thing this summer, as long as they aren't neutral-party Scandinavians/Asians en route to AIDS conferences.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-07-22/gaza-death-toll-surpasses-600-israel-ambassador-says-idf-deserve-nobel-peace-prize-u

Consider, from Reuters: "Israel pounded targets across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, saying no ceasefire was near as top U.S. and U.N. diplomats pursued talks on halting fighting that has claimed more than 600 lives." On the other side, Israel's military announced that the total number of army fatalities have risen to 29, three times as many as were killed in the last ground invasion of Gaza, in a 2008-2009 war.

.....

But where things get truly surreal, was the statement by Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Ron Dermer, who said on Tuesday that the Israeli army should be given the Nobel Peace Prize for its “unimaginable restraint” in Gaza.

Well, considering Barack "Don't drone me, bro" Obama received it, why not?

Well, first of all, the sources you link to show your views, but have you ever seen urban warfare up close?

Actual Hamas casualties are probably 20-30% of total count, but the IDF doesn't force anyone to stay in a house about to be bombed, Hamas does. Do you expect us to just quietly while rockets are fired on us daily?

Was that a serious question? The answer is, of course they do. Here in the States the answer from the Left is that Israel has their Iron Dome, they should just wait until Hamas runs out of missiles. Of course they don't discuss what should happen if Israel runs out of their own counter-missiles...they are counting on that.

Here is some interesting info about casualties in Gaza:

http://www.algemeiner.com/2014/07/21/al-jazeera-publishes-updated-list-of-gaza-dead-analysis-confirms-israel-tageting-combatants/

Al Jazeera on Sundaypublished a list of Gazans who died since Israel’s Operation Protective Edge Began two weeks ago, based on data provided by Ashraf al-Qedra, a spokesman for the Gaza Health Ministry.

A breakdown by age and gender published on the Israellycool blog on Sunday confirmed the trendreported in a similar analysis last week by CAMERA, the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America, that showed most of the dead were combatant age males, not women or children.

The analysis showed that 82% of the dead were men, and 50 per cent of them were between 18 and 28 years old, and 66 per cent between 18 and 38.

Israellycool linked to an article published by Bret Stephens in The Wall Street Journal in 2008 about that conflict between Hamas and Israel, referring to another report about the conflict in 2002, showing that it has always been impossible for Hamas to “back up the claim of indiscriminate killing by the IDF, let alone the crazy charge of deliberately targeting civilians.”

We just had a Free Palestine Parade march down town. Lots off calls to boycott Israel, stop killing women and children, seems its all the fault of those evil Joos.

Course nobody said anything about stopping the launching of Rockets into Israel.

Sit behind Iron Dome? An MIT physicist says it only works ~5% of the time, so I wouldn't recommend that. :P If anything 2000 rockets fired and only 2 civilians killed is a testament to the robustness of Israel's civil defense efforts.

I'm just being the Devil's Advocate and pointing out the general lack of sympathy for civilians from "the other team", which this summer is largely pro-Russian Ukrainians and Palestinians. Personally, I'm quite happy for ALL religious extremists to slaughter each other, especially since they tend to overwhelmingly originate from the Big Three Abrahamic religions. None of which I'm a fan of.

Not to mention the utterly laughable New Speak idea of giving a Peace Prize to a military actively engaged in combat operations....

^That's a good source. %18% * (600 - 29IDF - 2 Israeli civs) = 102 women/children dead. Probably a better track record than the Ukrainian army has racked up in the past month or so. *thumbs up*

I think this post should be entered into a hall of records as to why you should:

1) Always actually read your sources, not just vaguely skim the front matter

2) Never appeal to authority.

The man certainly has a PhD, but that is no fool proof barrier to stupidity, or the less severe but still bad crime of gross technical error. And it is readily clear from reading through that article that he doesn't understand weapon effects at all, nor how the Iron Dome warhead functions much less a fundamental concepts like DDT and fuse decoupling.
