alejandro_
Hello Wiedzmin. Where were those photos taken? Apart from the IS-3 you can see T-80s in the background... it's harder to see them nowadays.

geronimo
Vitaly Kuzmin has - as always - very nice shots from some of the rehearsals of the Moscow parade: http://vitalykuzmin.net/ For the first time the Typhoon-K and 9P157 are shown. Yekaterinburg: http://otvaga2004.ru/fotoreportazhi/voyennaya-tehnika/parad-pobedy-ekaterinburg-1/ Note that there are several pages. Gavin-Phillips
Any chance of seeing Kubinka's running T-35 multi-turret heavy tank spearheading the parade?
Tim the Tank Nut
careful with that suggestion. Someone might have a "snit" about damaging such a historical vehicle...which is absurd, sitting still does more damage that operationKubinka should have the entire first row of the parade! With all of the unique vehicles they have in their collection, I certainly agree with that.

Yes, it was on the news ages ago: http://www.military-informant.com/index.php/army/3585-1.html T-80UD stayed longer in service, then the turrets were recycles for T-80BV upgrades. Mr King
Have there been any experimental vehicles exhibited in Soviet parades?
alejandro_
Have there been any experimental vehicles exhibited in Soviet parades? Not really, in some air parades prototypes of future aircraft (MiG-25) have taken part, but not tanks AFAIK. The equipment displayed usually comes from units around Moscow. It is normal that they are not equipped with prototypes.
