But the price ... ugh. I'd be willing to go about halfway to that. And even then there'd still be buyers remorse over the opportunity costs.

 

I did pick up the recent "USS Hornet" rerelease of the old Revell 1/540 scale SCB-125 Essex kit. But can't, obviously, build it as Hornet as the kit represents the rounded rather than knuckle-bowed version.
