So what you are saying is, Orban has the perfect motive?

Orbán is an asshole who needs to go (preferably to prison). He doesnt care for hungarians, either here or in ukraine. We need a right wing, nationalist government. We need to fight ukraine as best as we can, first with stopping gas, oil, and electricity export to there (they would definitely feel it!), until they improve the situation with minority rights, granting autonomy to Kárpátalja, and banning neonazi groups. Thats the bare minimum for starting a conversation with them.

One F-16 was put in local museum by pro-Ukrainians. Note the territory is "National Univercity of Defence of Ukraine" in Kiev, not bombed at all.....  Also note Sherman M4A2 partly seen on this photo (Red Army tank recovered from river years ago, now repainted into "NATO color" to get rid of Soviet memory)

Drone-directed strike on HIMARS launcher that, reportedly, was involved in recent attack on Ryl'sk town in Kursk region. Note the launcher was detected by "big" UAV (see nose wheel). Not clear why second strike (by Iskander?) was launched on allready burning wreck

Also, not clear what was the target in Ryl'sk: small two-floor hotel was ruined. Russian Orthodox church have reported today one military priest "killed by HIMARS strike" https://t.me/voennyotdel/9944

Ukrainian terror attack in the UK

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdedkr9439wo

A 21-year-old man has been charged after fires at two properties and a car linked to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, the Metropolitan Police has said.

Roman Lavrynovych, a Ukrainian national, was charged with three counts of arson with intent to endanger life on Thursday.

He was arrested at an address in Sydenham, south-east London, in the early hours of Tuesday. He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Friday.

The charges relate to three incidents - a vehicle fire in Kentish Town, north London, a fire at the prime minister's private home on the same street and a fire at an address that he previously lived at in north-west London.

The investigation has been led by the Met's Counter Terrorism Command due to its links to a high-profile figure.

Pro-Ukrainians report third F-16 lost to unknown reasons (the text of report is strange as it combines both "contact with plane lost" and "all good" - no idea how it worked) https://t.me/kpszsu/34455

"On May 16, 2025, at about 03.30, communication with the F-16 aircraft was lost. The Ukrainian fighter was performing tasks to repel an enemy air attack.

According to preliminary data, the pilot destroyed three air targets and worked on the fourth, using an aircraft gun. However, there was an emergency situation on board. The pilot took the plane away from the village and successfully ejected.

Thanks to the prompt work of the search and rescue support team, the pilot was quickly found and evacuated.

The pilot's state of health is satisfactory, he is in a safe place, life and health are not in danger. To objectively clarify all the circumstances, a commission has been appointed, which has already started its work"

Maybe someone in Russia finally decided to mount a rearward facing IR missile and camera setup on a drone?

More then 30 years ago i, back then 1st year student of Moscow Aviation univercity. have asked the teacher from aviation laboratory why not to mount one or two Air-to-Air missiles under the wing  "tail forward" for the case enemy airplane would be on the tail. I got polite explanation that it missile is launched backward from plane (with "negative" airspeed, effectively thrown into air tail forward with the speed of airplane), it means at certain point missile speed vs. surrounding air would be zero, it will mean aerodynamic control surfaces will loose affect and missile would be uncontrolled untill getting enough positibe airspeed. Of course it is possible to overcome it (one way is creating missile controlled not by aerodynamic controls but by jet engine(s), another way is "remember" where the target was and after enough airseed gained - search again for the target), but as far as i understand it is not exactly the level of current AA missiles that could be fit to drone.

Different scenario.  Your guy is talking a jet moving at 400kt trying to take an off bore shot while pulling 6g's in the middle of a dogfight.  I'm talking about a drone moving in a straight line at maybe 100kt with a jet fighter closing from astern in level flight for a cannon kill.  The design of the missile (or launch rail) needs to accommodate the forward progress of the drone as the missile launches in the other direction.  Doesn't seem like an unsolvable problem.
