The other variations you mentioned have not been used on the site. Ryan is opening up with that and already planting incomparable assertions and goal post all over and talking in a taunting way as if he's got lots more reserves and ammunition to beat down lets see.. japrat? see better behave good and eat glory narrative. No, I'm refuting your incomparable assertions by giving key examples of atrocities by both and noting the vast differences between the both. I think you're the one playing the games and I'm refuting your position, assertion and equivocation. I presume that you know enough about Amritsar and Nanking to know that they really aren't comparable. Yes the British gunned down some 2000 Indians who were 'in revolt' as they saw it but it was beyond the pale and as I said the British themselves were appalled. But in Nanking, it was the rape, torture, murder for sport of some 200,000 chinese with even A Nazi Party figure being appalled and doing everything he could to stop it and save as many Chinese as possible. In Nanking, Gen Matsui was held accountable by the Japanese because it was an international embarrassment, more because they were caught out by international press who were there, not because it was an appalling act to the Japanese People.
rmgill Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 In all this footage how are we discerning who is Russian and who is Ukrainian? Outward models and types doesn't help that. Rates of Blue on Blue have to be through the roof.

Both sets of captured troops are wearing similar but different cloth bands around their legs? Makeshift identification to ID fellow RU forces quickly to prevent friendly fire? Are they makeshift based on use by what they got or do different bands mean something different like units?
Stuart Galbraith Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 They might have put bands on their leg to identify them as POWs. Their uniforms are kinda similar.
