ClaymoreCA
Well. It looks like Brimstone deployment (or at least training) in Uk is now confirmed. That is going to be a messy proposition for any attempted movement of vehicles across open fields or landing craft assaulting a shoreline. https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/uo40xc/visual_confirmation_that_brimstone_missile/?utm_term=1854483888&utm_medium=post_embed&utm_source=embed&utm_name=&utm_content=header All packaged into your neighborhood milk float. That's definitely going to be a problem for the /s victorious /s Ru forces. Nice bit of kit actually. Its seeker algorithms have reportedly been improved so that it can be employed in cluttered environments, but that's not going to really be a problem in Uk. Outside of urban areas this will be working in fairly clean environments. Even if targets are emplaced in treelines, the mm detector should winkle them out. Feel free to pull your head out of your ass any day now sunshine. Sweden and Finland are in the EU and there's about a 0% chance the EU will allow an invasion of EU territory without a bunch f EU (ie, NATO) countries coming in, so the actual joining of either to NATO is just a formality. Ergo, the Russians can't give a shit about either in NATO because the fact they are in the EU has already decided the matter. The 'military technical' stuff referred to I assume will be Finnish targets going from neutral status to NATO status. Russia's policies in Ukraine and elsewhere will not budge one inch regardless. Russian propaganda acuses the Ukrainian Army of doing the human wave thing, sending untrained, just mobilised people led by worthless officers to the front, and it could be right, somewhere, while somewhere else a well trained unit trounces its Russian counterpart. It all depends on the color of the glass.

Were they developed to be similar to hellfire, or based on them? HellFIRE and BRIMESTONE, it has to be intentional. Do the latest hellfires have that capability to be ripple fired from fast movers? It really has nothing left of Hellfire in it beyond the general shape. A pity, because it would be good value to turn old Hellfire rounds into these. Those that wish to remain independent will look for a protector and in that area it is not NATO but China.
Josh
Kazakhstan in particular has a lot of Belt & Road projects; you have to wonder if the government there isn't making an offer to the PRC now that Russia's ability to supply troops in times of crisis is diminished. It shouldn't be long until China has a similar lift capacity as Russia given the Y-20.

It looks like the Russians are going to put up with the losses that the US is able to inflict with this type of intel support in order to keep the conflict limited. considering how RUS is fairing in UK so far, it would surprise me if they thought dragging NATO into this would somehow work to there advantage over keeping it limited. No need to train UK's in an F-16 when you force NATO to deploy them
