This probably reflects how outnumbered and poorly prepared Ukraine is against this kind of invasion, they don't have that many effective, mobile fighting formations and they called up the reservists way too late.

Pro-Ukraininas are not outnumbered - this relative freedom of movement of Russian regular Army is bought by nearly suicidle battle along Donbass frontline, where volunteer pro-Russian militia is assaulting well-entrenched positions of pro-Ukraininns, keeping about 150k contingent of Ukraininian army pinned down and unable to go to play mobile war on the roads.  Unfortunatelly many good man who fought eight years of hopeless war in trenches with prospects of being handed over back to Ukraine in another political deal, have died over past two days - but at least their death was not in vain.

https://www.bloombergquint.com/global-economics/chinese-state-banks-restrict-financing-for-russian-commodities

Apparently, Chinese banks are cutting ties with Russia now.. they will no longer finance Russian export of gaz... so China wont support Russia in this that much after all...

China’s four largest banks have complied with previous U.S. sanctions against Iran, North Korea and even top officials in Hong Kong because they need access to the U.S. dollar clearing system, a person familiar with the matter said. In a phone call with Vladimir Putin on Friday, Xi urged the Russian leader to negotiate with Ukraine to defuse tensions.

but i guess your Russian medias reported this a bit differently Roman...

4. Europe woke up from its dream.. It will have to spend a lot more money on defense.. amount of money poor Russia wont be able to match...

+1. Every other negative consideration of UKRAINE 2022 for the Federation aside, the hit on their economy alone, compounded for the next quarter century, is going to be staggering for them.

For the end of History to begin, the past must finally end.

CNN says that Zelensky is willing to to talk about neutral status. Which would be the worst possible outcome for Europe.

Not for the Ukraine though. After that war, they will have no motivation to join the EU nor or Russia. Probably China will be the big winner.

Who do you think is after Ukraine Glenn? He told us as much.

So what?  We cross that bridge IF we come to it.  In the meantime, you need to relax, tone down the Sky is Falling bit.  The situation is pretty dangerous, but it looks manageable, especially if the Ukrainians do well enough to push Putin into negotiations.

Then there was Mr. Josep Borrell, the Spanish Socialist appointed as High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, equating Putin with Franco...

That is an insult to Franco. Who imho was one of the most pragmatic leaders of his time.

As i'm thinking about it, killing Zelenskyy  would be the worst thing that could happen to Russians now... his popularity amongst Ukrainian people is through the roof,  he would be viewed forever as martyr..  he is already president Putin could never ever hope to be...

Exactly who are "we" in your context?
